Starstruck sounds like a very high-profile show in the UK. Great that Adam is on it! Can't wait to see him in action. He's really good at this stuff.
The Stonewall "main event" is Sunday, June 6. It will be so cool to see Adam again.

This is counting many, many chickens before they're even laid, much less hatched, but so many of the U.S. music competition shows (Idol, The Voice, The Masked Singer, etc) originated abroad. I hope if Starstruck is successful enough in the UK to attract US interest, Team!Adam made sure to include a clause in the contract guaranteeing him a spot on the judging panel if he wants it.

I had not thought of that. You never know if or when someone will give something a shot.

From what I‘ve heard, Starstruck isn’t a new show. It had been successful in the UK for many years, before it got canceled. Now it’s the second time they bring it back. So I doubt US TV-makers will suddenly fall in love with the show. I‘m also not sure, if the British humor would work with an US audience.

Timing is everything, and right now U.S. television seems particularly receptive to these types of reality shows. And it seems to me that "British humor" would stem more from the people on the stage than the premise of the program, which should be just as adaptable to other countries as shows like The Masked Singer. That being said, I am in no way predicting the show will transfer to the US - I'm not even predicting what its fate will be in the UK. Like I said, premature chickens and idle speculation.
