The whole Starstruck concept is a pretty fun novelty, IMO. Even though it's been around a while in the UK doesn't mean it COULDN'T be adapted to a US audience. Are Idol and The Voice still going strong in the ratings? I don't know. I don't watch either one. Starstruck gives the whole performance idea a fun twist. Not gonna get my hopes too high, but it sure would be great if Adam got a judge position if it did come here. He'd be experienced! Love thinking out of the box.

Representing the other end of the spectrum, I'm hoping shows like The Voice and Idol are going the way of the dodo bird...and not really excited about another cheesy show like Starstruck landing in the US, Adam or not. None of any of these shows have anything to do with talent, only with made up drama...and plus, I'm so, so tired of reality show crap.

Both shows still doing pretty well in the ratings. I haven't watched Idol recent.if Adam were suddenly on I would. I've watched the Voice some this season. Don't see any stars in the making, seems to be more about the judges.

None of any of these shows have anything to do with talent, only with made up drama...and plus, I'm so, so tired of reality show crap. I'll put it this way. Quite honestly, Idol and The Voice make me quite queasy. I don't watch at all. If the ratings are hanging in there, so be it. But I am 1,000000% in support of Adam. And if a show like Starstruck came to the US and if he got to be a judge, I would watch the show in support of him. I've never watched ANY "reality" TV other than two seasons of Idol: Season 7 just before Adam, and of course Season 8, Adam's year. Never felt a need to go back to it. I know there have been some good singers every year. But I found mine and that's enough.
