All the does IMO is make the fans get it from Adam Official instead of Amazon or iTunes, which would push the album on the top seller list and thus more casual fans would see it on the front page and buy it. What the hell are they thinking???? Gah. I have no doubt stans will be buying from all 3. AO will have some special "packages" to buy from, that's their draw. |

Idk, but I'll do my best to find it out  Yes, there are real countdown clocks that are easy to set-up. I even did one, once. But where would we put it? Maybe Q3 or one of the mods could make one that gets copied into the News every day. I think it would be fun if it was on the main log in page and then it wouldn't need to be added daily. |

What the hell are they thinking???? Gah. They've done it for all their artists releases and one thing it does is help give the album a boost and gives them an idea about pre-sales. I always DL a single from i-tunes anyway because it's only another $1.29. Being that I am almost BSC, I will DL from Amazon too. I know this isn't possible or desirable for everyone, but if another $2.60 helps him get more visibility, then I am there. No judgements on those that can, can't, or won't.  Oh, and let me add, that once the song hits radio and gets enough plays, i-Tunes will take off naturally! |

Thank you all for talking me off the edge LOL I did not mean buying the single - that's important too, but it's much cheaper, and easier to buy multiple times. I meant buying the album. For instance, I admit I'm not really that BSC to buy the album multiple times (can't really justify it to myself, unless it's to gift it to a friend, which I've done in the past). So I'll only buy once, and I'm sure other fans will, too. Now, because of this AdamOfficial promo, of course my inclination is to buy the album from AdamOfficial, and so I'm just mad that my money won't help push Adam to the top 10 best seller list on Amazon, for instance, which would get him noticed by more people. Anyway. Maybe they're planning some big sale on Amazon week of the release, and so loooooots of peeps will buy it anyway.  ) |
