Just a quick drop in to flail over the press release and YAYYYYY at a Bruno Mars collab! So curious what that'll be like!!!! I really like Bruno's stuff and he's scorching hot these days so this could really give Adam a new audience! Awesome! Oh, and re the Mr. F stuff, seriously, people, google is your friend. But I'd vote for not bringing the kiss-and-tell attention whoring of an unconfirmed source here. It's really not news that Adam is good in bed, is it? :  Thank you!  |

Thank you all for talking me off the edge LOL I did not mean buying the single - that's important too, but it's much cheaper, and easier to buy multiple times. I meant buying the album. For instance, I admit I'm not really that BSC to buy the album multiple times (can't really justify it to myself, unless it's to gift it to a friend, which I've done in the past). So I'll only buy once, and I'm sure other fans will, too. Now, because of this AdamOfficial promo, of course my inclination is to buy the album from AdamOfficial, and so I'm just mad that my money won't help push Adam to the top 10 best seller list on Amazon, for instance, which would get him noticed by more people. Anyway. Maybe they're planning some big sale on Amazon week of the release, and so loooooots of peeps will buy it anyway.  ) All sales will count by soundscan, so i-Tunes or AO, for the album, really doesn't matter. But, I know what you mean about getting it into the top 10. I always get an i-tunes version anyway because it is just easier for me to DL there then to put the AO CD into the computer and transfer it. But that's just me. Adam is not the only artist I have done that for. I keep my CDs in the car and DL from i-tunes, just works for me for my MP3s version. Ya, I know, it's weird! ;D AO will most likely have special editions with things you can only get at AO. I am so excited! (Have I said that yet?!) My only question with this is didn't it work out that for FYE some of the albums shipped earlier from AO and therefore didn't get counted in soundscan for the release week? OTOH if I'd gotten the album early I would have been a very happy camper myself |

I just love the new single listened at least 25 times today. He may have made some changes to the words on this single partly because he wanted the song to fit him and to make it more up to date since it was written a few years ago. Also he may have wanted co-write on his first single out for cred.
The 20th needs to come quickly or at least the 18th for radio play.

A little bit OT, but it appears Brooke and Cam are both headed to Texas but could just be coincidental. Isn't Brooke from Texas?

Thanks koshka and aralid! Your links actually lead to the same thing, and I'm still reading it, but so far there are only good things As far as I'm concerened, you can kiss and tell, if all you have to say is positive. He's just making Adam even more of a legend, what's wrong with that?  |

Okay, I am going to show the level of my ignorance here. If the single is only going to be released via digital download, why does it have a cover? Why does it need a cover? It the cover just a nice pic to go along with the PR? ??? ??? ??? Both yes and no, I think. Singles have traditionally had cover art, and considering that its 3 months until the album comes out, there now *is* cover art that can be used for both the single and general promo. |
