Alright question. Not sure if this should be on numbers thread or not. On a different thread, Q3 said that BTIKM will have to be at least in the Top 50 to see any significant Chritmas/Itunes gift card sales. Since I haven't been following the charts since Adam was off it. How many spins does the TOP 50 song on chart CHR/HAC have right now? I just want to know approximately how many spins BTIKM need to have to get even close to Top 50, or if it's even in the realm of possibility for him to get in just two weeks. Hard for us non-professionals to see beyond the top 40 in each format. I loved the vid today where everyone was following him it was relatively quiet. When he walked thru the doors and left the crowd behind, everyone started squeeing. It was all very respectful until he left the room. Cracked me up. |

Last night I had dinner with a songwriter. He told me that he gets $0.13 for every time his song is played on the radio and $0.11 for each itunes song sold.
I was skeptical about these numbers. They seem rather high to me.
Thoughts?

Didn't that Toby guy say he was going to play it tomorrow on his station? New Zealand or somewhere?? Liam said he would play it, but he is in NZ. For the US, I vote for Z100!!! |
