 I've been locked out for 2 days!!! I've missed all the flailing and song leak, song streaming. And I haven't caught up with the thread yet. I'm finally here, cos I've borrowed another lappie, with IE. My own is a Mac with Safari or Firefox, both cant load. My iphone only has Safari and wont load either. I'm able to access all other websites Does anyone else have this problem with Safari or Firefox? Or know how I can fix the prob? Thanks Have you updated everything? Maybe that will help. Have you rebooted? I've rebooted a few times, I will try to update software later Thanks for the suggestion. (Error message is "404" if anyone knows what it means?) |

I don't hear any *rock*. I think pop with a slight urban flava is a pretty spot on description. The synths and production are super poppy while the way he inflects some of the words and the piano call to mind a lite r&b vibe. But to me a percussive backbeat does not equal *rock* but to each their own =) I hear rock in the chorus. That's when the guitars kick in. ETA: Just so I don't leave out any music genre. When he sings "Cause I need you now", I also thought about country as in Lady Antebellum.  |

Thanks for making me feel welcome! I see that it's going to be more fun to join in than to just lurk. So much happened today and it was hard to keep up from school. End of the semester and grades due but I managed to work in some computer time. Love BTIKM more each time I listen to it. What a voice, what a beautiful person. Welcome!!! |

ok guys got a question for you.... In reading a few other boards, I keep hearing that this is a HAC song, but maybe not a pop song. I rather disagree with this mostly because it is sung like a pop song and it has a distinctive beat to it. Its not uptempo, but every song on CHR doesn't need to be uptempo. I'm curious of the opinions of those who listen to top 40 on a regular basis. I can hear this on my top 40 station. I'm starting to second guess myself now. IMO this is a pure POP song. If could do well on HAC too but anyone who says it's strictly a HAC song is either deluded or butthurt. This would def fit in top 40. EDIT: Oh and apparently Pulse is a hotbed of butthurt from stans of other artists. I don't go there but ppl on my twitter feed do and they talk abt how Kelly Clarkson stans are ripping into him and etc etc. It's like that everywhere. Everyone's stans constantly feel the need to rip apart the perceived competition. It's kinda ridic. And it totally is CHR mid tempo. It's freakin faster than WWFM and waaay more current sounding. Another reason I cringe when I see music sites call it a ballad. It's not a freakin ballad at all but whatevz. That's funny because I just checked that thread and it is majority positive. Very little negative at all. |

I think we all wanted this song to be the best song ever written. Instead we got a great song, beautiful voice and its going to get played on the radio. We all know what Adam is capable of singing, we've heard it many times. He can't be touched. He wants to be a pop star! I will follow him down that rabbit hole and probably never come out. ;D

Seeing a lot of unfandom tweets abt the song in Adam's feed, even some RiRi stans tweeting how good it is......I am so optimistic!! Yippee, I was just shot down by my own son, I really needed cheering up. I am returning ALL his Xmas presents and ripping up his check!!!!!!!! Bah Humbug (kidding- still love him- but he must be adopted ;D) I have one of those adopted children also. She will never admit that she likes an Adam song. But tonight after her second listen (had my ipod on repeat) I caught her grooving her head to the song! |
