IMO this is a pure POP song. If could do well on HAC too but anyone who says it's strictly a HAC song is either deluded or butthurt. This would def fit in top 40. EDIT: Oh and apparently Pulse is a hotbed of butthurt from stans of other artists. I don't go there but ppl on my twitter feed do and they talk abt how Kelly Clarkson stans are ripping into him and etc etc. It's like that everywhere. Everyone's stans constantly feel the need to rip apart the perceived competition. It's kinda ridic. And it totally is CHR mid tempo. It's freakin faster than WWFM and waaay more current sounding. Another reason I cringe when I see music sites call it a ballad. It's not a freakin ballad at all but whatevz. That's funny because I just checked that thread and it is majority positive. Very little negative at all. Alright. Got it. Lesson learned. Never believe ANYONE. Can I come out of the penalty box now? |

Thanks for all the welcome. Yes, wifey is a member but mostly just reads. And I hear her laughing (actually guffawing) a lot so I sneaked it when she went upstairs. Looks like this is a fun place. Daughter also loves Mr. Lambert so I am outnumbered. Better to join them than be an outsider. Again, won't be an active poster and like wifey will check in to see what the fun is all about. Well you know what they say, if you can't beat em join em. Stick around, we can always use more male perspective. |

Okay shoot me!!!!!!!!!! I do not care for the song. Sounds like every other song on the pop charts. Nothing distinctive. It should have been another single. You need a song that grabs you. This does not. You want a song that says this is so great - let me buy the whole album. I am an Adam fan to the core and will never leave him. But I question the decision on this one. The snippet didn't grab me. The full song didn't grab me. Just becasue it's Claude Kelley doesn't mean squat. I wonder what the other 2 were? RCA played it too safe !!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all right. Maybe next time.  |

Thanks for making me feel welcome! I see that it's going to be more fun to join in than to just lurk. So much happened today and it was hard to keep up from school. End of the semester and grades due but I managed to work in some computer time. Love BTIKM more each time I listen to it. What a voice, what a beautiful person. Welcome!!!    |

 I've been locked out for 2 days!!! I've missed all the flailing and song leak, song streaming. And I haven't caught up with the thread yet. I'm finally here, cos I've borrowed another lappie, with IE. My own is a Mac with Safari or Firefox, both cant load. My iphone only has Safari and wont load either. I'm able to access all other websites Does anyone else have this problem with Safari or Firefox? Or know how I can fix the prob? Thanks Am on Mac./iPhone/iPad .. use either Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome. All works with me ... if you are used to using Safari check your Preferences ... go click on Safari Bar , look for Preferences... check security... make sure that the Java etc (There are squares there you need to check ) are enabled. Maybe that will help. You can also check software update, you might need to update your software. It's in your System's preferences. |

I'm sorry guys, but I can't help it. I want so much success for him and as an Adam fan, if I don't care for the song, how is John or Joan Q Public going to perceive it. I'm sorry it just doesn't grab me, and I am so worried it is not going to grab the public where he needs sales and a new audience.

BTIKM is going to do just fine! Uh guys, I think what wal posted is indicative of the song doing well. It's ripe for tons of youtube covers because the song is so generic in a way that it will be covered as much as WWFM. Prepare for all the X Factors,Voice, AI shows internationally to cover it. And because Adam sings with no pronouns other than I and You, he gets covered by both men and women - clever right?
I think the lyrics of BTIKM are kind of insipid, but then again, Jar of Hearts had lyrics like "you catching cold from the ice in your soul" LOL I really like the lyrics in the bridge though. And the way his voice sounds in the end.
Hey chunkey, you pointed out the Joe Jonas comparison in the popcrush thing? Adam's voice does sound kind of (don't kill me) One Direction, Take That, New Kids, N'Sync'ish, but honestly, what that signals to me is less that the song is dated, than Adam's voice sounds young. He sounds younger in this than 29 to me.
OT I just fuckin' love "We found Love" - I hope Adam gets to work with Calvin Harris stat, or find a new DJ like him who will make his name with Adam. David Guetta, or Mark Ronson, please!
