BTIKM is going to do just fine! Uh guys, I think what wal posted is indicative of the song doing well. It's ripe for tons of youtube covers because the song is so generic in a way that it will be covered as much as WWFM. Prepare for all the X Factors,Voice, AI shows internationally to cover it. And because Adam sings with no pronouns other than I and You, he gets covered by both men and women - clever right? Speaking of covers, I would not be the least bit surprised to hear a Rachel Berry version in the coming months. |

Does Adam get called Dang Dang in China, like, to his face? LOL. I love the airport arrivals. OT I just fuckin' love "We found Love" - I hope Adam gets to work with Calvin Harris stat, or find a new DJ like him who will make his name with Adam. David Guetta, or Mark Ronson, please! Looking forward to the album. And single cover looks great. Sorry for the long post, late to the flailing. See this is what I find interesting. We Found Love has an EXCELLENT beat but the lyrics are so repetitive that it is earwormy in the most annoying f#%*ing way. I love the video to piece, it was like watch a gruesome car accident the first few Times. Thankfully adam's song is ear wormy but not In the same annoying way. Haha. I watched the video for We Found Love and couldn't watch it again, but the song is awesome. The beat is so good, and the lyrics are so weird, and Rihanna's voice is so metallic to my ear and bizarrely electronic and monotone every time I hear it that it all works. It's a strange song. Maybe we just have opposite tastes, but I LOVE your Avi. It's ok, smokeyvera, you don't have to love the song. I don't like FYE the song but I love the video. Maybe when you hear the acoustic version of BTIKM or see the video or a live performance, you'll like some version of it, but if you don't, there'll be other tracks. |

I had the same thing happen a couple times, and took the advice of a consultant we had here once: Click like you mean it. Hold the mouse button down a little longer when you press Preview or Post. It worked for me... |

With this vid and the others it looks like there were crowds in at least 3 places. Hehe at all the head turning from the other passengers wondering who was getting all the attention. Yes that's great. WTF is that?, they're wondering.. ;D ;D Love the girl saying "You're so handsome, Adam!" Yes, he is. |

I listen to KIIS and they play the crap out of Someone Like You and It Will Rain but have never added Kelly's Mr Know It All. So who knows? I do think this has a bit of an R&B sound to it that might help. It also depends on how hard RCA werks radio and what kind of deals they cut with them or payola or whatever. I dunno wut labels do to get massive play, but I know they have to do a lot of wheeling and dealing sometimes. I hope they can get this to undeniably smash so that his second single can get played automatically. Where's Wolfman Jack when you need him? I was going to bring up Dick Clark and Bandstand next but that may not be a good reference. |

I've just eaten a whole box of chocolates and am pacing. Got to let it go. Whatever will be will be. Aw, sorry you don't like it. It is what it is, and no amount of people saying how awesome it is, is gonna change your opinion. It's ok-- there's a whole album of songs and chances are you'll love some of the other ones. Maybe not the singles, but oh well. As for me, I've had to bert in tiny spurts all day because work was non-stop, and now I think I'll never catch up :-/ But I have a 30+ mile commute to and from work and I listened to BTIKM on repeat both ways and OMG I am so in love with this song!!!!!!!!! It's got just enough emo for my angst-loving heart, and his voice is fucking amazing, and I love the beat of the drums and weird, organ-music synth-y thing at the beginning and end. Very distinctive. And IMO it will fit in perfectly on pop radio. Tween girls and young women will freakin love this song. Who hasn't had a relationship where these lyrics resonate? It's absolutely a perfect choice for 1st single, and I think it will be a bigger hit than WWFM. There, I said it.  Listen up, universe! |

Okay shoot me!!!!!!!!!! I do not care for the song. Sounds like every other song on the pop charts. Nothing distinctive. It should have been another single. You need a song that grabs you. This does not. You want a song that says this is so great - let me buy the whole album. I am an Adam fan to the core and will never leave him. But I question the decision on this one. The snippet didn't grab me. The full song didn't grab me. Just becasue it's Claude Kelley doesn't mean squat. I wonder what the other 2 were? RCA played it too safe !!!!!!!!!!!!! Close your eyes, put your headphones on. Listen to the bridge at the part where his harmony comes in. Just repeat that 10 seconds. But if your "it sounds like every other song on the pop charts" complaint is true then I'm celebrating because that means they hit the mark right where they were aiming. He doesn't want to change pop music he wants to be embraced by it. We may want him to be a transformative artist but may have to settle for him just being a tranformative personality. |
