I've just eaten a whole box of chocolates and am pacing. Got to let it go. Whatever will be will be. Aw, sorry you don't like it. It is what it is, and no amount of people saying how awesome it is, is gonna change your opinion. It's ok-- there's a whole album of songs and chances are you'll love some of the other ones. Maybe not the singles, but oh well. As for me, I've had to bert in tiny spurts all day because work was non-stop, and now I think I'll never catch up :-/ But I have a 30+ mile commute to and from work and I listened to BTIKM on repeat both ways and OMG I am so in love with this song!!!!!!!!! It's got just enough emo for my angst-loving heart, and his voice is fucking amazing, and I love the beat of the drums and weird, organ-music synth-y thing at the beginning and end. Very distinctive. And IMO it will fit in perfectly on pop radio. Tween girls and young women will freakin love this song. Who hasn't had a relationship where these lyrics resonate? It's absolutely a perfect choice for 1st single, and I think it will be a bigger hit than WWFM. There, I said it. Listen up, universe! Love the feel of the drumbeat.. feels like a heartbeat during the angsty bridge. Love Adam's "poppy" delivery laced with that half sob, almost plaintive silky tone. This was a smart, smart move on the label's part to choose this to re-introduce Adam for era #2...

Smokey, I don't feel nearly as strongly as you do, but I understand where you are coming from. It's a nice little pop radio song, but it's not epic in it's current form, IMO. But I still really like it for what it is, and I think it will serve it's purpose for radio. I am confident that I will love the live versions though. And I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE FUNK :D. Speaking of the funk, has midwifespal stopped by with her two cents? Well Imma gonna jump into that pool too. Sometimes the more you listen...you warm up to a song. The AO sound is far superior, and does not scream at you like some of the other streams of it. What makes the difference I don't know. So maybe I need more time to listen on the AO site to get as squeeeey as most of you are. I have harder time wanting to press repeat...but I will support through thick and thin! My ears would prefer a lower key and not arcing for those high notes over and over ...but Adam has his style and he adapts to live performances. When he first started singing WWFM on AI under the laser I thought what the heck, and after 10-15 seconds...I realized pure genius.... with innovation comes a showcase of a REAL VOICE ..no autotune...no being drowned out by back-up singers. If Adam is on X Factor . I will be sh____bricks to see his take on the premiere live of BTIKM.

Not sure if this has already been posted: music.yahoo.com/blogs/reality-rocks/lambert-gets-better-listen-full-stream-adam-single-000911381.htmlLambert Gets “Better”: Listen to the Full Stream of Adam’s New Single!By Lyndsey Parker | Reality Rocks Excerpt: Adam's sophomore album Trespassing (out March 20) may boast a few cuts with an edgier, dancier vibe than this, but I think "BTIKM" is the perfect reintroduction of Adam Lambert to the general public, especially to more casual fans mostly familiar with the radio hit "WWFM." It's a smart move artistically, and commercially (a precarious balance not always easy to find in this business), and I imagine "BTIKM" might even be up for another Grammy in 2013. (Adam missed the cutoff this year, damn it.) I think it's a very good sign that a co-worker five cubicles away from me heard me playing this and walked over to ask, "Hey, is that the new Adam Lambert song?" Adam's voice is unmistakable here. Cliff-Notes version of this review: I. Love. This. Song. Let me know if you love it too, on the message board below. I just hope the Yahoo! servers can handle it...

I'm sorry guys, but I can't help it. I want so much success for him and as an Adam fan, if I don't care for the song, how is John or Joan Q Public going to perceive it. I'm sorry it just doesn't grab me, and I am so worried it is not going to grab the public where he needs sales and a new audience. I hope I eat my words !!!!!!!!!! Played it for my DD who is 20-something and her response: "reeaaalllly catchy, I like!!"
