Thought Adam was performing on Sunday, June 6. Now it says June 5? Humm. Guess we'll find out which one it is. I've been to the British Museum, too. It's SO cool. Very impressive. I know Adam loves the Egyptian stuff, and they have a lot of it there. He likes dogs and cats which those high pointy ears. LOL Just like Pharaoh.
Bonnie McKee is such a good songwriter. She has said how much she enjoyed working with Adam.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the second and third runners-up. They both have weight issues and both lost weight before being on the show. I think that was mentioned at the auditions and wasn’t mentioned again. Not like the past when Simon would point it out! Just shows how things have changed with the body acceptance movement. I get the feeling that Adam still struggles with weight and image issues. Whatever weight issues Adam may have had are not in the same league with Willie. They said he lost 300lbs before the show and he is still huge. So for him it was likely a health issue. But they said he was still working on that so that is a good thing. He seems to be very religious so Gospel and not pop or R&B may be of interest to him. He sang a lot of soulful tunes with religious flair so that might be true. Grace I think has lost weight too. She listed Adam as one of her favorite Idols (great taste, lol). They both have great voices so I wish them well.
I agree that it was a good thing they did not keep talking about the weight issue. I think they really hurt Jeremiah a few years back when they would bring up him being gay on every single episode. The only episode that he and they did not dramatically bring it up was the one that Adam mentored. Maybe Adam just wanted to mentor ALL of the contestants about how to sing and perform. He didn't want it to be about his or the contestant's sexuality (as Lyndsey Parker was hoping for). And boy did he do a fantastic job. And it was pretty great hearing a few boys from the South singing his praises. One even said on camera he should have won over KA, lol.
