Xie xie is Mandarin for Thank You or acknowledging appreciation [curious] Is it pronounced sort of like "Zee Zee"? If so, you've just FINALLY explained to me what my daughter's “Ni Hao, Kai-lan" game is saying! I don't understand a word of Chinese, and the character never translates her phrases. Xie' is pronounced like 'shye and Ni Hao means Hello. Ni Hao Kai Lan means Hello Kai-Lan... I think Kai Lan is a character in a children's TV show...

Is this set list sheet for real. I mean I got up ...saw the tweets for the 4 songs...then over... Go back to bed...can't sleep...fussing over:Was Adam so late that the excuse was technical difficulties??? Was there now going to be a hassle over paying... for 4 song gig? He did soundchcek IIHY...didn't even sing WWFM. What the heck!! New "Lane" Jeremy couldn't get him moving any faster and needed to prod 2x to get him out of the room. ACKKK So was all of this angsting really not worth it, or was this set list thing put up after his performance? Bringing an entertainer and band in for 4 songs seems bizarre.

Lord, this morning is so exciting- I feel as if we have ALL been picked up in a tornado and are happily spinning away in Bertlandia- Adam is my OZ!! But he is REAL!!! I FEEL SO SORRY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT BERTS!!!! (dumb asses)"And that's the truuuuuth" What a fun, amazing Sunday morning. Chatting with people from all over the world about a performance going on in Shanghai. It can sound condescending to say how sorry we feel for them, but it is the truth. I have a few friends who are great, but have no spark, nothing to excite them every day. The major common denominator is no Adam, but second to that is they are not music lovers in general. The healing and cleansing power of music cannot be denied, as far as I am concerned. As an aside to that, my thanks go out to JustKaren for seeing that I don't sink into the abyss....

1. Check your browser settings. It is something local (on your computer or WIFI network settings,) 2. Check that you are using a current browser. 3. If you are still having a problem, please send me a PM. >>>> So far most of the problems have been from people using older versions of browsers. There are new version of IE and Firefox out there, <<<<

Maybe Adam was prepared to do ten songs ? Perform for an hour ? and maybe the audience squeeing and dancing took most of the time... could not contain them... and maybe half the time... they had to call in the paramedics... perhaps the Lady in Red had too much fun....Adam is not for the fainthearted....
I am just having fun thinking about the audience' reactions...
Adam is a professional , he would have done his part...

Its a little overly cute-sy IMO (she's generally wandering around announcing how super happy she is). But the show is harmless and my daughter has a Leapster game with Kai Lan where they do some simple puzzle solving and counting.

So do we know for sure who was in the band? New gal on bass, Cam on keys, Isaac on drums and Tommy on guitar?

stampsgal, nothing about the gig has been confirmed, other than that cute Twit Pic. The setlist might be right or wrong.

Have you ever gone to translate.google.com and used the sound button to listen to whatever it is you are trying to translate? If you chose Chinese and type in 'xie xie' then go to the bottom right of the box and click the sound icon you get something that sounds like 'zheeuh zheeuh'.
