LOL. There is something just a little wrong about that wall art and the layout of the furniture.

Q3 i love your article about BTIKM as a box of chocolates!
For me, the song itself is a better than ordinary popsong (and i consider most of gaga and perry for example, ordinary, so Im being tough here)
at the same time not a naturally great song. Thats OK. When Adam Lambert sings it, it changes every thing
some of the reviews put it in terms of his emotion, and yes I agree. Im gonna put it in a different way. For me, he basically conveys a World, through his "energy".
When he sings I go where he goes and its fuqqin beautiful, this World that he creates. His voice conveys it, his internal experience, his mindset, his evolvedness, his beauty.
Thats probably why i can listen and listen and listen.
Adam Lambert is a world creator and I love love love the world he creates.
I love that he sings "I get kinda dark. Let it go too far. I can be obnoxious sometimes. But try and see my heart".
I feel thats him being honest. revealing.
Thats part of being in his world. Forgiving people for their foibles when they are amazing like him.
I love the drums - the stutter and the echoing quality. It gives the song more gravitas.
He has such perfect judgement between technical artistry and conveying emotion.
He is just that cut above, every other popstar out there (tho i respect some of the others for their talent etc)

Please tell me it is all good. If I had hired Adam to do an hour set, paid him a bucketload of cash, and paid to fly him half way around the world and he did just four songs, none of them his big hits or covers, I would be more than pissed. I would be filing a law suit.
Please tell me not to angst. It is not my style, and there is too much wonderful stuff lately. Talk me down, Plz.

Is this set list sheet for real. I mean I got up ...saw the tweets for the 4 songs...then over... Go back to bed...can't sleep...fussing over:Was Adam so late that the excuse was technical difficulties??? Was there now going to be a hassle over paying... for 4 song gig? He did soundchcek IIHY...didn't even sing WWFM. What the heck!! New "Lane" Jeremy couldn't get him moving any faster and needed to prod 2x to get him out of the room. ACKKK So was all of this angsting really not worth it, or was this set list thing put up after his performance? Bringing an entertainer and band in for 4 songs seems bizarre. Umm...wow. I read that a Chinese corporate function paid Sharika 600 K for 6 songs......

Xie' is pronounced like 'shye and Ni Hao means Hello. Ni Hao Kai Lan means Hello Kai-Lan... I think Kai Lan is a character in a children's TV show... [grins] Yep. Kai Lan is an animated Chinese girl in a children's TV show geared for preschoolers. Its a little overly cute-sy IMO (she's generally wandering around announcing how super happy she is). But the show is harmless and my daughter has a Leapster game with Kai Lan where they do some simple puzzle solving and counting. I really like how the young kids are educated about the world through these TV animated shows... I think this opens the kids up to other cultures and creates acceptance and understanding...

[shrugs]
Sometimes people get paid to just stand there after making an entrance (Paris Hilton and her $200K appearance fee!!!).
Adam has flown himself and the band around for a three-minute appearance on shows.
I hope there wasn't actual technical difficulties, but if there were, if I owned the hall I would say the heck with the 10pm time cutoff and kept Adam going!

I don't know why people are angsting over something we don't know? Remember the Moscow show when, from the tweets, we thought the show was soundcheck?

So do we know for sure who was in the band? New gal on bass, Cam on keys, Isaac on drums and Tommy on guitar? Cam said in her livestream with Neil she was still in band, but couldn't go to China.

Keep in mind that for the corporate shows, the entertainment is just part of the program AND the audience is not paying for it. Personally, I would be happy with 1 Adam Lambert song and 15 encores!!
