Bobo - Thank you for this info! I'm always curious about how other countries celebrate. Christmas is such an institution here in America & very tied into religion. I moved from LA to a very small town & everyone is very religious here. I'm not a member of any church either and I don't want to be pressured to join a church! Just go away people & stay outta my bidness! Maybe I should tell them I'm a member of the Lambert Temple. That should shut them up. I've been wondering "how much a Jew" Adam is? I don't know much about the Jews, because we have only 1500 of them in Finland. I know that they have there own habits regarding eating meat and having extra arrangements for kitchens and things like that. Do you think that Adam follows these rules? From what he has shared about what he eats, I would say, definitely no. He has also said, in interveiws in the past, that he is more "culturally" Jewish than religiously Jewish.

Also, on second read, this kind of jumped out at me: "The Queen connection should help Lambert to break Britain with his second album, Trespassing, due out in March, but it may also prove problematic. Queen are reportedly keen to tour soon with the singer, and, should he accept, Lambert would make millions. First, he insists, he will see how Trespassing fares."This paragraph makes it sound like the author has verified that Queen wants Adam to tour with them. I never really thought about how much money Adam would make doing that. Bet he never thought in his wildest dreams that he'd have to ponder such a dilemma. Let's see.....How can I work this to further my own VERY PROMISING career and make millions AND appear with Queen occasionally and make more millions. I think she's off base though when she says the success of Trespassing will be "problematic" (in light of the Queen "offer"). Maybe it hasn't been evident in the UK - but I don't think she realizes, he definitely already has enough success that a Trespassing Tour is inevitable. I read this quote a little differently. I think the author is expecting Trespassing to be successful, especially given the Queen connection and that there will be a Trespassing tour. So the problematic part is the combining of two successful tour options. Yeah. PostfestumPF took it differently, too. I think I was just going by the last part " first he insists on seeing how Trespassing fares." I didn't mean anything negative, for sure. This article was ALL WIN. I love it! Got DH to read it and he really liked it, too. He learned stuff, too. Better than me going on all the time Adam this and Adam that. LOL

He is Jewish by heritage because his mother is Jewish. Because it is both a religion and a race it can get kind of confusing. One is considered a member of the tribe or race if one's mother is Jewish as it is a matriarchal lineage.

I'm fully expecting Adam to be on the X-factor finale. It would explain the early release date. (can't stand the show - too much production, not enough talent....but I'll be watching this week. ;D)

Like many of us (Jews), Adam is a complete atheist, or maybe believes in some higher power, that's got nothing to do with organized religion. He doesn't keep any of the religion rules (except being circumsized, but that's not his fault , and it became more wide-spread than just a Jewish thing).

I don't think he's much of a Jew at ALL! LOL! Jewish people are just like anybody else - they all have different degrees of beliefs. Some go to Temple, others not. The real orthodox ones have all the kosher stuff & don't eat certain foods on certain days. I don't think Adam follows ANY rules! Doesn't mean he doesn't believe in a higher power - he just calls it the "Universe". And I certainly don't know how the Jewish religion feels about homosexuality. Most religions don't accept it openly - except for the Episcopalians. Do we have a Jewish ATOP member who knows what the Torah says about being gay (or if it even says anything)?
