My 30 something daughter was just here and she only listens to hip hop, rap, r and b etc.. I don't talk about Adam to her because I only get an eye-roll and comments like why do you like him or some such other uninformed thing. So I told her I wanted her to listen to the new single and she sat quietly and listened (didn't really want to). Was surprised she said she really liked it and thought it was a great song....I said are you just saying that because you think that is what I want to hear. And she said no, she would tell me if she didn't like it. Thinks it will be a big hit on radio...not that she will be a convert...but if someone who is as far out of fandom as is possible really likes it, I am excited...

I don't think we have any concrete evidence to support Adam performing on the X Factor finale, but that being said, thinking he COULD perform there is not so much of a stretch given the numerous connections and stuff. I mean they are keeping everything close to the vest this era and I truly believe he is in for some majorly awesome promo. I mean the UK Times article? HOW EFFIN GOOD WAS THAT GUYS??? And the single technically isn't even out yet.
They have teased and teased us SOOO much that major awesome things are in store, and Adam is now with an actual competent management company this time, so I am not worried in the slightest about him getting his fare share of promo. The label is behind him--they sunk SHITLOADS of money into this album it seems. These song writers and producers do not come cheap. They wouldn't spend this kinda money on something they weren't gonna promote like WOAH. It wouldn't make a lick of business sense. And maybe RCA has it's faults but it's not that stupid.
They are just not telling us what is in store but that's been this era's MO so far. Like someone said above me, we had really no info to assume he was gonna sing with Queen until right before and look how that turned out? Sometimes our assumptions are ridiculous and have no chance in happening, but I think X Factor is one assumption that seems petty logical and has a high chance of happening. It's something that, if it turns out not to happen, it wouldn't have seemed like such a far fetched idea in the first place.

Thank you so much for clarifying what the Jewishness means. I didn't know that a Jew can be an atheist. Atopia is a great place! We can learn much about each others' cultures too here. There would be no wars anymore if we could rule the whole world! Just love and peace.

OTOH - I think we found out about Queen soon after he did. Good Lord!! He performed with that much confidence with just a week's notice? Un-freakin'-believable!!!
