Airport meetings are pointless- if I was Adam I would check into a hotel and sleep for 15 hours before being thrust into any "family meeting" situation. Not that Sauli couldn't crawl in towards waking up time, but the man needs some serious sleep.

angelkrash I got lost in the river of the floating news and I wanted to respond to your comment but I forgot.  I can TOTALLY see what you're saying. The way he chops the words and says "dar" instead of dark or "hear" instead of heart, and the way he sings it, reminds me of Britney too. Not that I don't like the way he sings the bridge, I LOVE IT, it's just different from what we've heard so far by Adam. BUT IMO the whole song is showing off his glorious voice, and the way the bridge is written is very smart. Probably they wanted to do this, it can relate to the young crowd. Very pop-ish. These are my little thoughts anyway. (not that I'm an expert or something)  I guess you're right.It is very pop.I guess it just takes me a while to get used to Adam doing it. IDK gelly from your explanation is sounds to me like you are an expert .Thank you. |

Somehow this seems so...strange...ad hoc..I dont know..Didn't really expect this  But I am so happy he decided to come, never mind the weather :D. I think he tried to come incognito, and Sauli would had been a clear sign that Adam is coming. And now let's leave these boys alone. We Finns are respecting individual privacy, aren't we , and this is not a work trip as far as we know. I do not believe it was Ad Hoc -- I think it was planned but private. ---- On the UK release dates -- looks like UK and Germany/Austria/Switz are on the same basic schedule -- single beginning of March, album March 20th. Gelly, where is 3/12/12 UK release date from? 2 weeks before the album would be more typical for UK I believe -- 3/5/12. And if I recall correctly Germany single release is Friday 3/2/12. 12 March came from his UK publicist..Shoshanna |

As I recall, Sauli gave us a hint that Adam may be with him for Christmas, when he said in a blog that his Christmas Tutka might have a surprise guest. I think it's great they have some family time in Finland before things get crazy with the album. Yay!

I'm definitely aboard the "WTF did Team Adam choose to release BTIKM this week if there's no promo planned for it?" train. I'm not sure how anyone can expect that the song will get the benefit of all those shiny new iPods, iPads and iTunes gift cards if people don't know the song is even out there. Initial sales won't look as good as they would have otherwise. We might as well brace ourselves.But beyond that, I'm not seeing how a lack of promo for the initial release week will affect the longterm viability of the song. Obviously there WILL be promo - undoubtedly a whole shitload of it - in the new year. The situation with Sleepwalker in Canada is completely different, and totally irrelevant to the situation for BTIKM. BTIKM is the lead single for a highly anticipated album, and a great deal is riding on it. It will be supported to the hilt. I'm not worried a bit on that score. I just remain curious about the rationale for the timing of the release. At this point, it makes absolutely zero sense to me. Maybe Team Adam has an ace up its sleeve, and we'll be pleasantly surprised by an appearance we didn't see coming (which, at this point, pretty much leaves NYRE). But if not, all will still be well in the long term. Of that I am confident. EXACTLY what is in my head! |
