Shoshanna is in a tough spot. Hard for her to tweet to Adam fans that Adam is not a proven hitmaker in the UK yet and RCA has to get BTIKM high on the charts in the US first.
It is one thing to release a single in the UK. It is quite another to get it on the Radio 1 playlist.
But even the biggest US single releases are delayed for the UK -- California Gurls, for example, has one worldwide on sale date (5/11/10) but was not push in the UK until late June,

Trespassing is #28 on Amazon with no pic at all.
Obviously it couldn't stay at the level it was yesterday -#15- a full 3 months before the release and even before an official cover was available. This was excited fans having fun with it.
It was neat seeing it there even for a bit tho. 8-)

The UK times article probably make me think the single will be out very soon but not that late. I think the whole damn promo sound very complicated to me. Good morning all! Just wanted to chime in that, personally, I trust that all is as it should be. There is a plan. The single has had excellent reviews so far. It's out there now slowly crawling into our collective consciousness. What a gift we have! We can spend quality time with family and friends and listen to Better Than I Know Myself to our heart's content. January is the time for ringing in the new. It'll happen. I believe! p.s. Just saw the video. Awww, lots and lots of visiting. As it should be. |

Can't figure out the single rollout either. Or why the date was moved up to December so suddenly. Whatever! Hope Helsinki gets some snow and that Adam has a beautiful suite in the best hotel with Sauli waiting for him!  Sauli's father has a big house. He could be staying there too. No fans or paps would bother him there...I'd guess. But yes, maybe Adam and Sauli need other kind of privacy too after being apart such a LONG time (3 days) and a hotel suite would serve that kind of purpose better.  |
