I totally agree with the bolded part. Of course, one's family and loved ones mean more than their business in life personally. But I don't get comparing the two. Business is business. Personal is personal. I have no doubt that if being in the states at this moment was vitally important to Adam's career, he would be here right now. Someone who loves Adam would totally understand and be good with it. Sauli knows the ins and outs of celebrity as well. I fail to see how a couple of days either way would be so terrible and unthinkable to either of them. JMO. I wasn't making commentary on whether or not Adam would be in the U.S. right now if his career depended on it nor was I opining whether Sauli would understand. I was saying that I believe, for Adam, his personal life and his relationships with his loved ones will always take priority over his career because I think Adam knows that this life of celebrity is fleeting and that at the end of the day it means nothing if you don't have people you love to share it with.

Random info just to waste time and ignore RL -- When Adam left LA and arrived in Shanghai he gained 17 hours. Of that 17 hours, he has now lost 6 hours by traveling to Helsinki. So, he is currently 11 hours ahead of LA at this time.

Yeah. I'm sure Adam would like to keep the paps away from Sauli's family home. I'm basing my guess on the fact that before Adam had his house, whenever he was in LA for a short time, during Glam Nation and right afterwards, he stayed at hotels. Not his mom's, not the Cherry's, but a hotel. I think he likes his privacy. And the security at a hotel could probably better handle fans and paps. I'd prefer hotel, if I were in his shoes. You may or may not need extra security, but it takes the pressure off. And A&S could get their alone-time as well. Well, to tell you the truth, when I'm visiting friends or relatives I tend to stay at a hotel... You do not have to be careful of waking somebody up if you can not sleep at night (especially when jetlagged), can order in if you are hungry, can take shower or generally do whatever you please. And most importantly, get your clothes washed/ironed etc. When you are living out of a suitcase, you tend to appreciate small luxuries...
