 Trespassing is down to #28 on US Amazon, and I noticed that the pictures gone from the US site & UK site. ( Trespassing still isn't on the Canadian Amazon web page ). I'm so damn confused why they moved BTIKM up from the planned January release if there isn't any promotion. :-/ Especially here in Canada where Adam's had no promotion for a year. The Behind the Music and Major & Minors and True Hollywood Story wasn't on TV here. If your outside of the Adam Lambert bubble the general public hasn't heard nothing since His appearance on AI when He sang Aftermath. Even the EMA's where only shown a couple times late at night and TSMGO was cut out and not shown on TV we only got WRTC & WWRU Guess I'm paranoid because I remember what it was like when Sony Canada gave us Sleepwalker for Canadian radio to shut some fans up with no promotion. After the first couple of weeks the radio stations got tired of just the fans worldwide spamming the local Canadian stations they stopped playing the song. I remember updating the Sleepwalker radio charts daily and it was sad after a couple of weeks to watch it disappear. :-/ I want BTIKM to do so well, but if it's going to be another Sleepwalker situtation where they drop the song with no promotion and the general public never hear the song then..... Adam needs the general public to get on board if BTIKM is going to be successfull. If there isn't an Xfactor performance or public New Years performance they should have just let the song wait until January until after the Holiday radio freeze.  Tis the season to be jolly. I'm not a fortune teller but I believe Adam will be fine. Perhaps he will be even better if he takes time to visit his in-laws and begins the new year refreshed and enthusiastic. He would have an ulcer if he worried as much as some of his fans. One of my favorite sayings is: Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans. I think Adam is orchestrating what he can but living the life he is so happy and content with right now. Kudos to him for that. He will not turn 40 or 50 or 60 and realize he forgot to enjoy his life along the way. |

I listened to it on ZMonline, it was great to hear it live on radio!  Hope they will also play it on German radio stations soon! :  What did they say about the song before they played it or after playing it? Nothing - just that it was his new single. Both NZ radio stations that debuted it today (Edge & ZM) basically said nothing about what they thought of the song.. :-/ |

The single was just released today. While I don't have complete faith in RCA to do everything perfectly, I have to believe that they have a strategy. It's already getting a lot of buzz and there is no need for angst. I'm enjoying the ride as radio stations start to play it. These are test spins and we'll find out soon enough how things go.

Me too. The opening notes are so recognizable. I instantly know it's Adam's song. I love the opening and closing for that reason (as well as the video game/church organ parallels), it totally id's the song and gets you mentally ready to listen. Some songs openings are so like other songs that it takes me a bar or two to know what I'm even listening to on the radio. Jessie J's Domino opening unfortunately sounds like a deodorant commercial or something so the first couple of times I turned it down because I thought the car radio had hit an ad break, lol. I'm right there with you. I love the distinctive opening and closing. |
