Tampa's spins are only on the online stream they are not broadcasted on the radio and are not counted as a radio spin. |

my story re Adam's voice: was travelling to my DD graduation with my ex. He asked about Adam (of course) and I immediately gave him my iPod with EMAs. His reaction: "Not only Freddie would be proud, he would be JEALOUS!".Next was OOL. His reaction:" Truly incredible. Where do I find his stuff to download?".... my speech re "you've got to pay, etc..." in short - he listened to Adam for over an hour  \ But still no luck with my kids. I got another "no one knows or cares about him here [college]" from my DD ... oh well, her loss |

Ha, my 26 year old son's comment after I asked him to listen to BTIKM: "seems like it should have good marketability and mass appeal. Not really my cup of tea though, too much emphasis on his voice which doesn't really excite me like it does you" I told him it was his loss  I don't understand what he means by " too much emphasis on his voice..." Do you know what he means? Whose music does he like? Just curious. 8-) Yeah I don't quite get it either - his favorite Adam song from FYE was FYE (if that says anything about his likes). I took it as a good sign because he hates anything mainstream and we want this song to have mainstream appeal right? My son likes indie (mostly electronic) music he finds online or through friends - he lives in the city (SF), does not own a car so doesn't even listen to radio. |

I am no longer going there as I feel that they are trying to "fool" us. Doesn't matter to me at the moment. In the past 2 hours I've heard BTIKM more than I ever heard WWFM and IIHY. |

Popjustice is one of Shoshanna Stone's buddy's that Adam gave a music preview too. Shoshanna (Adam's UK promotion person) thought it was funny to laugh at them too. I'm not crazy about the idea of Adam's PR people publically laughing at fan art. yeah, but those pictures are up on Adam Official so when you click on the link Adam tweeted to hear the song they are RIGHT THERE for the whole world to see. Maybe AO should think about not putting them on the FRONT PAGE of his official website. Unfortunately, I really can't blame Popjustice or anyone else for mocking them. Lol yes. I posted something as diplomatic as I could on the feedback thread on AO to the mods one day when something particularly heinous had been done to Adam's nose on the front page art. I was browsing K Perry's website to look at redesign ideas and she has a LOT of tweeny fans, but still like most pop stars she has a photo section on immediate view on the front page, not a fan art section - which is deeper in the site with other fan creative endeavors. I sort of feel the same way as when a positive news story uses the melvin picture as an illustration or the old sad panda one from AI. Adam's so beautiful, why not make the best visual impression on browsers and new readers on the main page? |

... josyloosbr ! did you mention you were from Brazil? I really really want to visit there someday. Do you know anything about that big Rock Festival they do there every year? I thought I read a long time ago that Katy Perry was going to perform there this year. I would love for Adam to do that festival. I think it goes all weekend with many bands playing. I don't think I'm imagining it....but you never know! I tend to have 'brain freezes' sometimes!! LOL : |
