@hrc: Today we mark five years since 49 people were killed at Pulse nightclub. It has been 1,826 days since this tragedy, yet nothing has changed. It is odd how this tragic event seems to have faded from memory because we have had such a tumultuous few years. But it seems like things are headed the wrong way regarding gun violence in the USA. |

I am in Arizona so this is a quick flight for me -- but I am not quite ready to go to Vegas even to see Adam. I admit to being really, really torn about this one. I am fully vaccinated but just.... Should I just do it? |

Q3, I understand your dilemma. I'm fully vaccinated, and there is NO way I would be going anywhere like Vegas, or a cruise, or an airplane, etc etc etc.
I'm just now starting to creep out of my house for the occasional lunch out, as long as we're eating outside. We did have a family get together earlier this month, about 20 people...all fully vaccinated. That was fun.
Strangers, no way.

It's so easy to take some of these things for granted, and we sometimes forget it hasn't been that long that we've had certain freedoms/progress. |
