But really, we know nothing about Adam's personal life. Nothing. We think we do, but we don't. I agree. I think that part of our problem is that we are so invested in someones life who we only pretend to know. I am not going to be so blindly in love that I make excuses about what happened--tired, drunk, whatever--this was a big personal and a professional screw-up! But I do feel that I have a general sense of the kind of person Adam is: caring, in control, responsible, smart, emotional. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised to have to add flawed to the list. Aren't we all. I don't like it. But it's true. And I still love him. |

My comment about alcohol vs. drugs ---
Many rock/pop stars have substance abuse issues. Alcohol is one choice --- and it is legal. If, Adam had been abusing drugs, it would have been a much bigger problem -- legally and from a PR standpoint. I was comparing it to similar issues with other celebs -- about half of them are drug related.
