yeah, had to admit this has crossed my mind a few times. have a feeling not a popular opinion to hold and should not be spoken, but thanks for saying it. I've never been one to care if it's a popular opinion or not. It's reality. If this were anyone else, like Durbin or Cook or Kris we'd be outraged at this behavior. It does Adam no favors to excuse this away as being meaningless or all good because any press is good press. NO, he needs to get himself under control and if he can't handle his alcohol better than that he should stop drinking. Will this ultimately hurt him careerwise? no, I don't think it will because sadly this kind of behavior from celebrities is the norm. I always hoped and thought Adam would be above this. Outraged? Hardly. In fact, it's thinking about this happening to someone else that calms me down about Adam. If I read this story about another celebrity, I have no doubt I'd just shrug, probably say, "That was kinda stupid," and move on with my life. I worry about things like this with Adam, but good grief, compared to many other celebrities, he's a choir boy. I don't want him to make a habit of this behavior, but he's not Chris Brown beating up his girlfriend, or John Mayer making racist comments in a Playboy article. He got into a minor scuffle outside a bar and was temporarily detained by the police while they investigated the matter. It's really not that big a deal. |

IMO Adam will now gain more fans,especially younger fans who can sure relate and men who can totally relate.. I'd be sad the world we live in if he gained fans for getting drunk and arrested. Glorifying bad social behavior or making excuses for it is part of the problem we have as a society. Adam made a mistake and has acknowledged that mistake. That's all I as a fan and fellow human being can ask for from him. |

what makes me saddest is the various factions within the idol bubble who will be celebrating this event. I am celebrating the extra media coverage - like People mag  Adam's tweet is perfect, Sauli's blog is perfect, the whole thing is perfection! and again, hope the boys drink less as a result - better for their health in general - this would be another WIN ;D The "cold " thing is worrisome for me, as I don't want BB to get sick.... |

Hello everybody, first time posting and a newbie to Adam Lambert. Please excuse me if I may be clueless on Mr. Lambert. Ever since the EMA performance, I have begun my interest in Adam Lambert. I know the EMA is considered old news by now. I do not overly enjoy loud noise and crowds normally. I had to go with my bosses with our complimentary VIP passes. Frankly, did not really have much to say about the performance until Adam Lambert's. His stage presence was amazing and definitely unforgettable. After the show, only his voice was lingering in my mind. Back to town last night, with an almost empty office today, I have done some googling on Adam Lambert. I found three things: 1. the new release BTIKM (I know I am LATE and behind... but better late than never, right?) 2. This AMAZING Adam fan site! and 3. The recent "love flighting" thingy. Personally, I think it is so cute and believe many many people has similar experience in their relationship with their love, girlfriend, boyfirend, or their better half. I think if either Adam or his boyfriend are not celebrities , no one will take notice. I just had something like that last month with my dear half when we ran into his ex and the jealousy got hold of me... but it was blow over in a couple hours. When everything said and done, we got our relationship stronger, I learnt to trust our love and my better half learnt to be more sensitive to my feeling. SO it was all good. Not that I know much about Adam relationship with his boyfriend, personally, I feel it is a productive experience to their relationship either way. IMHO. Back to Mr. Lambert's work, for whatever it worths, this little incident is a perfect fit to his new single, it may just add even more emotion and passion when Adam perform the BTIKM! Now I am going to download from itune. There are much to learn about Mr. Lambert, ATOP will be the perfect place to start! Nice to meet you all in ATOP! Hello, yuki... I, too, am a newbie and had discovered Adam from EMA on my TV, not LIVE like yours! So jealous.... I discovered this forum by googling "Adam Lambert" and love how organized this forum is. I was blown away by my TV experience with Adam standing in for FM and I can just imagine how a awesome it is for you to be there up front witnessing the first discovery of Adam Lambert live! As for the news last night, I can only express my own opinion in that until Adam/Sauli explained what happened I just ignore it. So no further comment from me. Love and ordered the new Single BTIKM, looking forward to get the new album. Now I am going to bask myself with all Adam Lambert's performance form you tube and maybe explore this forum's archive to experience Adam Lambert's performances. Do I have to go through each day of Daily News and Info Threads or is there a summary? Thank you, all of you, wonderful Adam Fans for making this easier for newbies like us to get a real picture of Adam, the artist, and also a sensitive, vulnerable, sweet, loving human being. Thank you all and Happy Holidays! Wow! What a discovery... Adam and this forum... a truly wonderful Christmas present. |
