Anybody else think Adam's chose to use the word "blackout" purely so he doesn't have explain what happened over and over? Because I 100% do

It's Happy's Birthday! Welcome yuki and cat to this lively group of Adam fans.
It's so easy (and fun) to buy into the A&S fairytale. A&S are so remarkably poised, kind, and compassionate in most situations, it is jarring to see their "less than perfect"selves on public display.
I imagine Adam is nursing "a fine way to meet the relatives" humble, humiliated hangover. Adam is not a babysitter; he is also not responsible for what society values. On balance, "he's such a nice guy" x 10,000 outweighs one incident of publicly stoopid.
Susie Fierce loved your limerick.

Sorry guys. Violence is not funny but this was not an act of violence. Just trying to infuse some humor as they are hopefully laughing about it I loved your comment. Made me really laugh out loud! The press went wild. I do not see this as an abuse or domestic violence problem (do not go to MJ's.) Good advice re: MJ's. I stopped reading the comments on articles related to Adam on that site a long time ago. Too depressing. Re: the latest chapter of "Adam's Adventures in Finland", having worked in PR for a few years at the beginning of my career, I don't agree that all publicity is good publicity. And the initial stories today were not good. However, I don't think this is a big deal in the long term. It sounds like the police put Adam and Sauli in their respective drunk tanks to cool off, then questioned and released them. If Adam had actually injured someone and/or been charged with a crime, then the situation would have been more serious. Adam is probably going to feel a bit stupid and embarrassed today, and he may have to field a some questions when he goes on his publicity tour, but I doubt this is going to affect his career. (But Adam, if you're reading this, it's never a good idea to get arrested in a foreign country, especially when you don't speak the language. Just sayin'. Now let's hear some more music! )

Hi everyone. Lotta feelings today, I see!
As for me...I saw the news on another board early this morning, and I actually haven't had a chance yet to read the whole thread...so there may be more information available than I am aware of...but these were my reactions at 6:00 am today, in this order:
1) Holy Shit! LOLLLLL!!! That's too funny, omg really??? LOL 2) Adam, that was really, really stupid. Way to pay back the hospitality that Finland has shown you. 3) Christmas is in two days. Most of the world isn't going to care about this soon. 4) There is really no such thing as bad press. As nasty as this is, it isn't going to hurt Adam's sales in the US at all...and if anything just adds to the "bad boy" reputation the media has given him. Deserved or no. Disgusting or no. It's not going to hurt, and might even help.
Eh. Ever since the AMAs I have been totally zen about Adam. I simply don't agonize about everything anymore. I think he used very bad judgement and he should be ashamed of himself. I hope he apologizes publicly in some way (and forgive me if he already has). But that's all, really, it's easy for me to move on. I still adore the guy, and I'm not going to hold this against him, and I'm not going to angst about it. (And I'm still kind of LOLing, tbh. But again, I want to stress that I haven't read the whole thread...there may be more info I'm not aware of yet, my feelings on the topic could totally change!)
ETA: I feel like I should also add that IMO Adam is an adult, responsible for his own choices and their consequences. I'm not going to defend or exuse what amounts to a really stupid choice on his part, but neither do I feel the need to overly condemn him. Or Sauli for that matter. You make your mistakes, and you take your lumps and learn, and move on. It's unfortunate that all Adam's mistakes are widely reported in the media, but that's simply a fact of his life now.
Now...MY LOCAL HAC STATION IS PLAYING BTIKM!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!

tkradio toby knapp A promise to @adamlambert fans for the new year... bit.ly/uVuwu32 minutes ago Thursday, December 22, 2011 ADAM LAMBERT: I Won't Get Into The Gossip And Stir The Pot..Adam Lambert fans: I promise not to stir the gossip pot for hits. You've made your message clear this morning and I won't dive in like others who think they can tease you for hits. That's why I'm not getting into the stuff other sites are. Because you asked me not too. Besides, we've all had hangover burgers before. And then some. For me, my fave was hangover nachos from SHEETZ in Lancaster, PA on Oregon Pike, but that's a different story. This is my promise to you in the new year and it starts now. Thanks for trusting me and for reading the blog over the last few weeks while we've each shared information on his new song and stuff. I realize how passionate and exciting you guys are, and I appreciate that you've let me be a part of the experience with you. Merry Christmas, Glamnation! -t. That's good will from Toby to Adam's fans IMO. I appreciate it.

My only comment will be, Adam is an adult and will live with the consequences of any choices he makes. I'm not his mom, or even a friend, only a fan and since I have no control over his choices there is only one thing I can do... continue to be a fan or stop being one based on what he does in his private life. I'm staying a fan. This is pretty much my thought as well. Thank you for expressing it so well Tinafea.

The Gaga incident was Adam dancing with his hands up and causing some minor damage to the ceiling. Perez lied about him being asked to leave and lied about him not being invited. Basically, there was no Gaga incident except in Perez's Gaga induced brain. And, in my brain, the Helsinki incident probably has more to do with a combination of Jet Lag and alcohol than just alcohol. Both guys have tweeted about how tired and jet lagged they are. Add some drinking, in a party + Holiday atmosphere and bang!! And if Adam does have a problem with drinking, which I don't think any of us can say he does (was he even drinking in Miami?), then he has many very close friends and a close family that can talk to him about it. But really, we know nothing about Adam's personal life. Nothing. We think we do, but we don't. The Gaga incident didn't end up with him in jail. For me that's the crux of the problem. For the person who pointed out that Sauli was also drunk and also arrested, yes he was and he needs to get himself under control too. The same rules apply to anyone who gets so drunk that they end up in the drunk tank for the night. I think we need to avoid lumping these three separate incidents together and making them one story. We dont really know any details about the the first two, and not many about the last, and I hesitate to take situations out of context, meld them together, and then extrapolate larger meaning from them as if they are all part of one story. Adam has had a crazy and stressful life over the course of the last couple of years. He has toured internationally and been under all kinds of stress and his behavior has been solid and responsible. Sometimes people just screw up, and it is never easy when you become famous enough that when you do, everyone takes notice and sensationalizes your situation across the tabloid press. We have followed Adams every move for over two years now in and out of some hard situations. I look at all of that history. He has been a pretty tame rock star in actual fact.

Hello everybody, first time posting and a newbie to Adam Lambert. Please excuse me if I may be clueless on Mr. Lambert. Ever since the EMA performance, I have begun my interest in Adam Lambert. I know the EMA is considered old news by now. I do not overly enjoy loud noise and crowds normally. I had to go with my bosses with our complimentary VIP passes. Frankly, did not really have much to say about the performance until Adam Lambert's. His stage presence was amazing and definitely unforgettable. After the show, only his voice was lingering in my mind. Back to town last night, with an almost empty office today, I have done some googling on Adam Lambert. I found three things: 1. the new release BTIKM (I know I am LATE and behind... but better late than never, right?) 2. This AMAZING Adam fan site! and 3. The recent "love flighting" thingy. Personally, I think it is so cute and believe many many people has similar experience in their relationship with their love, girlfriend, boyfirend, or their better half. I think if either Adam or his boyfriend are not celebrities , no one will take notice. I just had something like that last month with my dear half when we ran into his ex and the jealousy got hold of me... but it was blow over in a couple hours. When everything said and done, we got our relationship stronger, I learnt to trust our love and my better half learnt to be more sensitive to my feeling. SO it was all good. Not that I know much about Adam relationship with his boyfriend, personally, I feel it is a productive experience to their relationship either way. IMHO. Back to Mr. Lambert's work, for whatever it worths, this little incident is a perfect fit to his new single, it may just add even more emotion and passion when Adam perform the BTIKM! Now I am going to download from itune. There are much to learn about Mr. Lambert, ATOP will be the perfect place to start! Nice to meet you all in ATOP! WELCOME! 8-) Thank you for sharing your story.
