ETA: The comment section in the article is very interesting too. I guess there's a reason people call it "getting hammered." Note: The link is on an addiction website but I am NOT saying Adam has a problem of that magnitude. No editorializing is implied or should be inferred by the name of the link. Another note: In my experience, slinging Bible verses, unfortunately, ends up wounding relationships and closing down dialogue. Would hope the discussion could keep the lines of communication open. |

I really hope he will do some serious thinking about his drinking habits. I take heart from his "lesson learned" comment. He's in the public eye now and has to remember that anything he does could make it into the media where it will be distorted and exaggerated. That aspect of it is not his fault, but it is something he might want to bear in mind if he's concerned at all about his public image. I'm sure I'm more concerned about his public image than he is, but I can't believe he would want to get a reputation of someone whose behavior is out of control. This incident alone is not going to paint him in that light, but repeated incidents might. |

I'm sad that this happened. But I realize that Adam and Sauli are humans and things happen. I agree with what was said earlier that Adam has had a tremendous amount of stress in the last several years so a time or two of poor judgment doesn't cancel out how well he has handled things 99% of the time. I think the press is embarrassing more than harmful. Adam will be okay.
