It's okay, you're a vital and integral part of the big ecosystem of celebrity. And, if you're the celeb, it's still better to have people talking about you than ignoring you (like maybe people will start ignoring the Kardashians so they'll go away...please?). Personally, I just want AFL's music to keep coming and, offhand, I can't think of a single band or artist whose career was irreparably damaged because of some occasional raucous "badboy" behavior--and, hell, most of us LOVE those badboys! We want to be them or we want to f*** them. It's all part of Rock 'n' Roll, and I embrace AFL the Rocker ("From New York to LA getting high rock n' rollin, get a room trash it up 'til it's ten in the morning"...grind your crotch into the face of a dancer and kiss your keyboard player at the AMA's, punch a whole in Gaga's ceiling, wrestle an obnoxious pap at the beach..). He's not self-destructive, so put away the pearls and put on the leather. OK, break's over, now I have to get back to work at my real job (regular people have to eat, too). 8-)

I'm really curious why the club felt the need to call the police. From all accounts it sounds like the bouncer could have easily taken care of it. I wonder why they didn't just handle it on their own? Maybe because they are famous and the publicity it would cause!!! I had the same question burrito!!!

Yeah, my cynical self thinks someone saw an opportunity for some headlines. Barroom scuffles in my neck of the woods don't warrant police unless weapons are involved. The bouncer just bounces.

I don't think Adam has a drinking problem per se....as in his unable to control his drinking... I do think if he can't control his behavior while he's drinking he should rethink when and where he drinks. ie: drink at home or at friends homes and not in public bars. So true, next time when they get "wasted", let's hope they will make out instead of this and we'll get all the pics ;D As long as the media does not shape him into this stereotype, he'll be fine.

The publicity is really unreal
Adam gets arrested Google news lists 143 news on line related to this story (Times Live, Daily Mail, USA today, Reuters etc.)
Queen articles 77 news related
Better than I know myself review 21 articles
MJS (don't know if this is a good comparison, what anyway)
Adam arrested 316 posts Adam's BTIKM available everywhere 343 posts Adam BTIKM full song 525 post
publicity is weird

I have read almost all the messages of today. I was in the morning quite worried.. my lovebirds will split.. then I thought that these guyes are living their relationship just like we ordinary people have done or will be doing with the same joy and difficulties .. I wish them both a Merry Merry Xmas and a lot of beautiful new years together:) I was moved reading earlier comments about the new song and the relation to what have happened.. it just showed that the words in Adam's songs are not empty:))

Oh dear, some of the posters here don't like being called "pearl clutchers?" If I was writing a dictionary of idioms, I would link directly to this discussion for examples of "clutching their pearls." This is why people buy tabloids and follow gossip; if you never grew out of the middle-school-drama-queen stage, if you still get a vicarious rush out of following the antics of celebs (who have no idea who you are), and then breathlessly discussing it ad nauseam with other pearl-clutchers, if it makes your own days a little more exciting, then just OWN it and get over the indignation. It's okay, you're a vital and integral part of the big ecosystem of celebrity. And, if you're the celeb, it's still better to have people talking about you than ignoring you (like maybe people will start ignoring the Kardashians so they'll go away...please?).
