iTunes tells me that Adam's song "The Vanquishing Of The Three-Headed Sea Witch" is 5:46 mins. long! The joint ones shorter - Man's Man is 1:28, and The Wedding Party is 3:12.

lurleene, Amen! Adam has become a significant advocate. Deserves a bit more public thanks for it. Right after Idol he was asked about being a "role model." He said he wasn't one. But as the years go by, he has shown to be someone to look up to when it comes to working for the rights of so many others. I predict he will stay active in the years ahead, probably with a larger role.
en9, thanks so much for the info on the person who won the chat with Adam! Sounds like it was fun. I chuckled when he said that the kilt and the pants were awfully hot. Serves him right! Haha1
So fun to hear the names of the songs Adam sings on the Cinderella album. His solo song about the Sea Witch sounds like it's right up Adam's alley. And it's great that he is part of two other songs, too.

He was just off of a realty show so who would expect or want him to be a role model for anyone at that time? He had accomplished nothing and was just starting and trying to build his career. He didn't have much of a platform then. When he had success and a platform, he felt the time was right to try to use his influence and hope that some would listen. Many young LGBT kids looked up to him. Like many, he grew into his role and became more active over the years. I know I was less interested in politics and social issues in my twenties than I was later when I saw the impact. Thankfully, the younger generation can see first hand, with social media and more means of exposure and information, that it is never too early to get involved and make your voices heard.
Exciting that Adam has more than the solo song!
