The pictures of the floodings here are simply unfathomable...it's hard to fully comprehend the depth and scope of anything. Living a bit north of Munic we are lucky and are not affected by the catastrophy. The main areas hit by the water masses are in the north-middle west of Germany around Cologne Rheinland-Pfalz and Nordrhein-Westfalen. There are over a 100 deaths and over 1000 people missing. We have gotten very much rain this year, in stark contrast to the previous three drought years. I'm so glad you're ok. Makes me so sad to see those pictures, and to see those reports of the dead and missing people. That part of Germany is so beautiful, so many old buildings and structures.

Theres alot of old stuff in Europe...we are the "old world"...but yes spontainiously especially Trier and Cologne come to mind in that area. How's your Region doing betty?

Well, I was born in Germany, south of Munich in fact, so I do know just how old some of the buildings are. That's why the videos and pictures are so sad.

An unexpected anecdote today: I was talking to my friend who all over a sudden mentioned that she saw her seventeen (17) year old son listening to Adam. Knowing my addiction she asked what was it that attracted him to Adam and this obviously very smart teenager explained that βLambert has the strongest voice, the biggest range and the most amazing tone of them allβ.
yup.

Only 1 day with rain in June and a bit here and there since then with temperatures often above 30 degrees Celsius. Currently I enjoy my vacation at the North Sea in Denmark. Great weather, also no rain in sight, but cooler than at home with a fresh wind from the sea. Meanwhile Adamβs boyfriend Oliver from Denmark is visiting my hometown.
