marionm, So glad you are ok. We have been seeing how terrible the flooding has been. The loss of life is tragic. Our thoughts are will everyone who is dealing with this.
nica, your friend's son is a very intelligent, perceptive and musically savvy young man. Glamberts are born every day.
BTW, the Cinderella soundtrack is selling very well in multiple formats. I assume that the everyone in the stage cast and on the soundtrack are getting a cut of the proceeds? Including Adam?
So fun hearing Two Fux and Lucy. It's been a while. Great songs!

Does anyone know why Todrick Hall is no longer being mentioned? I noticed he wasn't in the LP liner under featured vocalists on one of the earlier posts. I can't find his version of Only You on YouTube either. |

😂😂😂😂😂 "Old buildings and structures" lol...No offence, but it probably depends what your perspective is and what you consider old. Theres alot of old stuff in Europe...we are the "old world"...but yes spontainiously especially Trier and Cologne come to mind in that area. How's your Region doing betty ? Well, I was born in Germany, south of Munich in fact, so I do know just how old some of the buildings are. That's why the videos and pictures are so sad. When I typed my comment I worried that it sounded snarky but I couldn't think of better words to put it and it definitely wasn't meant that way. I didn't mean to alienate anyone.  Thanks to everyone for the kind words!
nightowl my brother, wo is in agriculture, has told me that while there was some relief in the upper soil in the north-east the deeper layers were still very dry, so it could dry out very quickly and easily.
This week I was positively surprised that the EU-Commision has filed legal legislation with the EU-supreme court against Hungary and Poland for their Anti-LBQT laws.

The pictures of the floodings here are simply unfathomable...it's hard to fully comprehend the depth and scope of anything. Living a bit north of Munic we are lucky and are not affected by the catastrophy. The main areas hit by the water masses are in the north-middle west of Germany around Cologne Rheinland-Pfalz and Nordrhein-Westfalen. There are over a 100 deaths and over 1000 people missing. We have gotten very much rain this year, in stark contrast to the previous three drought years. When I heard the news, I immediately thought of you, betty and nightowl Meanwhile, we badly need rain in British Columbia and our forests are burning. It hasn't rained in four weeks here and we already had a unusually dry spring. |

An unexpected anecdote today: I was talking to my friend who all over a sudden mentioned that she saw her seventeen (17) year old son listening to Adam. Knowing my addiction she asked what was it that attracted him to Adam and this obviously very smart teenager explained that “Lambert has the strongest voice, the biggest range and the most amazing tone of them all”. yup. Smart man! Has your friend tried listening to Adam? |
