OK is there any speculation for a NY Eve appearance at anyone of the NY specials? My guess would be no since he really doesn't have a new CD out. WOuld they have him sing a new song which hasn't even been released yet?
also when does TV open up again for new guest appearances? I'm assuming we can count of Ellen

Finally I have a breather! Happy Holidays to all. My dishwasher broke last week. Dearest me I had to wash by hand. Tha'ts ok except for a house full of company, it's the pits. Dishpan hands! of couple of things, my best friend came up from Center City, I was read the riot act on Adam's behavior. (We have gay friends) who relayed they were very upset about the past incident and it set a bad example of their community. I just defended him and noted the press blows everything out of promotion and sensationalizes it for press. Oh well Good news. A little story.. I am fostering 5 parakeets for a neighbor who is sick. So I always visit PetSmart since it's an easy walk from work. Two weeks ago, I noticed a Canary hovering in the corner of the cage. I have birds for 35 years, last a blue front who is a fabulous talker. I reported the bird to the cashier. Wednesday as I happened to stop in, I inquired about the Canary. The employees noted he had a broken leg and was back in the storage room. Storage Room? I said "what the hell" so he agreed that I could take this little guy. SO THursday, he now has a home in my crazy home. Well I ask my girlfriend let's give this little guy a name. I suggest "Charlie" She says no "Adam" no he's not an Adam. Adam is BIG, little bird is small. We compromised. New Name "LITTLE ADAM" 'cause he has beautiful eyes like wearing guy liner and he's a beautiful singer. next, for Xmas, I received an "ADAM" keypad. I opened it up and laughed so hard. I'll take it to work So at home I have "LITTLE ADAM" singing to me and at work I have Adam look at me while I work. Can it get any better?   YOu're probably going to kill me when you read this but I have Irish Setters and we visit Petsmart quite often too -- the difference is I take them in there to look at the parakeets flying around. THEY LOVE IT. They don't understand it but they are very intrigued for quite awhile. My one guy actually points them out. I keep telling him, you're a setter not a pointer but he can't help himself. To not sound too bullish, the birds don't even notice --really, they don't. Lastly, my latest puppy I named Sure Fire Winner and, of course, his call name is ADAM. Obsessed? Yes, of course. |

I have been stunned and silent the last few days. The "event" last week, so atypical and dumb. It's not as if "he" hasn't been around the world in "bars". So we had four people who are very prominent in Finland all hitting the newspapers with varying degrees of negative press. My question: What the hell was the bouncer doing? A club open to 4am and serving alcohol must have had other "events". A bouncer's purpose ought to be more than calling the police. I thought they grab a combatant and drag them out of the scene. Guess my bar room fight knowledge is poor. Why this played out the way it did just fries me. I read somewhere in the Finnish press that it was the onlookers outside who called the police, not the bouncers. I was wondering about the same question before. Also, there was supposed to be an extra security guy; what was he doing all this time? We'll probably never know (or really need to know either), but it seems like things are ok. It will be interesting to see how the first interviews will go. |

SusieFierce If indeed Adam's fronting Queen was on short notice, did anyone determine the tweet way back when , when I think one of his friends, tweeted "You are all going to shit yourself' or something to that effect. Than what indeed was in reference to???? just various collaboration w/artists or hearing his new single. ???? Alisan did tweet that she was talking about the music at one point, but many weren't sure if she was just trying to downplay her tweet so as not to freak us out or give too much away. There was also a rumor that Monte told people Adam would be appearing with Queen back in August or so. Sooo, either that was a completely baseless rumor and Adam didn't know until a week before OR ... The Times reporter got that aspect of the story wrong. She did have a couple other errors (nothing earth-shattering), but still it's possible she could have misunderstood the "phone call" timeline. |

Soooo . . . we haven't really heard why Adam's invitation to sing with Queen at the EMA's was only a week ahead of time--have we? There was speculation that he was replacing Gaga. Anything else or more definite? That just seems really short notice for such a high profile event. Or maybe Queen was slated to perform and asked Adam at the last minute so they could. Anyone know any more? I was thinking about this while driving the other day and began to think that little details ( IMO only) point to Gaga as the possible collaborator, then it kind of ... fell apart. PURE CONJECTURE from me, but ... • The rumors were persistent and reported in a few places about Gaga fronting Queen, then they abruptly stopped right before EMAs. Although, one of her fans reported hearing a broadcast or interview the day before that said she would be singing with Queen. • Adam's last-minute call. • Roger's rhetoric about the collaboration being "effortless," which is how he described the performance with Adam more than once, which is kind of an odd choice in words. I wondered if he was saying it in contrast to a previous attempt at a collaboration that had been anything but. • Brian's statement of, "It's never going to happen," when asked about Gaga collaboration – after he had just performed with her on the VMAs in August – seemed uncharacteristically blunt for him. • Also Gaga wearing that huge saucer in front of them and appearing to give them little notice whatsoever during the audience portion kind of hinted at distance to me. I began wondering if perhaps they did make an attempt at collaborating and it just was not gelling to the point that Brian and Roger said, "We can't do this ... we need to change plans and now!" I kind of thought the whole scenario made a lot of sense. susie, going by Brian's statement after the VMA's collab with Brian, do you think Brian did this VMA with Gaga as a trial collabe, to see how the collab with her's going to be? And maybe after the VMA he sees that it's not going to be easy. As a huge Queen fan I definitely am not going to be very happy if Gaga sings Queen songs half nekid or on top of that Globe or wearing one of her weird stuff. The bottom line is I'm going to be very grumpy if she makes the collab as Gaga-ish rather than QUEEN! HOWEVER, I would be very happy if Adam performing Another One Bites the Dust or Crazy Little Called Love topless with his tight leather pants and struting sexily on stage :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ |
