This site has a huge summary of the Canadian promo tour videos and a second part to Shaun Prouxl does not seem to be around. Of course once I opened this link ...as saved on my favorites....it is hard to resist listening to the vids. I just finished listening to some...came back to the site and Cassie posted it. One always gets carried away listening to Adam. Some interviewers are wacky like the 2 videos with The Fix interviewer. Adam said .. I will take the blame for interviewers asking the same questions over and over...guess I don't have that much interesting going on in my life or I need to get more going on in my life. Promo tour 2012 is just ahead... next round of repeat questions???!!! Wait and see game, and my SAVED Favorites will keep expanding. Time to do a little organizing. Don't know how some of you keep all this stuff straight!!

Oh, Cassie - best interview is a great category!
My fave is the one from the girl in Canada that split her leather pants, so funny!
But I think Adam's best interview was with CNN in Asia in 2010, a 20+ minute in depth with great questions! Too lazy to go and find the link.
I don't listen to radio, we don't get it out here in BFE, only get to listen when I go to Odessa or back to Houston, which is not very oftien.
I also don't read much on the best seller list, but I did read the "The Girl......." series by Swedish author Steig Larsson, there were 3 of the books, all very intriguing!
Movies? I loved The King's Speech, that was 2011, wasn't it?

So I am feeling all proud of myself for coming out to a friend--coming out as an Adam fan that is. She was a fan until AMAs and then turned into a pearl clutcher of sorts, never looking back. We are different in about all ways but somehow the greatest of friends. She lives far away, we were chatting, and she was sharing youtubes of voices that she thought were sexy. We'll I couldn't resist-- I sent her the link to Adam in the Berlin ENERGY WWFM (same as the acoustic live cd) hoping she'd hear what she'd been missing. After all, I think that early fans (and even those that have only heard FYE) have no idea. The bug has been placed in her and, of course, what could she say other than it was beautiful.
Of course, the next thing she said was "you know he was just arrested for fighting with his lover?". Grrrr!!!! I probably should have sent her clips of interviews, not music, because I felt like the real battle was defending the fact that he really is a nice guy. I tell you, it is not Adam's voice that needs to be sold but his image. The music will sell itself if people could just let the voice in. And I don't think that it's all black and white with fans. Sure there are those that will never accept Adam for who he is but there are those in the middle that walked away before knowing the whole Adam, who could really love him if they had more (positive) exposure to him. Hoping that this era changes this for many kinds of potential fans.

Also most offices have sauna quarters for company entertainment purposes or for employees to have off-time together. Srly? Ok, I never really thought of myself as an American prude  , but I have to say the very thought of being expected to partake in a office sauna makes me freak out more than a little!! I think this is one cultural difference I couldn't cope well with. |
