Since it's a slow news day, I hope people won't be too upset if I bring up The Incident again--not to talk specifically about what happened in Helsinki, but to ask a question that occurred to me and see what everyone thinks about it. What if Adam and Sauli weren't lovers, but friends? What if it had been, say, Adam and Monte who (due to an obvious conflict) got into a drunken scuffle that didn't involve punching or injuries but ended up with the two of them being taken to a police station for a few hours and then released with no charges filed.
Would that TMZ guy, or anyone, call that "domestic abuse"? I think the TMZ guy is as guilty of applying a double standard as he's accusing others of doing. He's assuming that if two men are lovers, there's an abuser and a victim. I doubt he would draw that conclusion if the two men were just buddies.

Also most offices have sauna quarters for company entertainment purposes or for employees to have off-time together. Srly? Ok, I never really thought of myself as an American prude  , but I have to say the very thought of being expected to partake in a office sauna makes me freak out more than a little!! I think this is one cultural difference I couldn't cope well with. Men and women go separately to sauna, but yes, naked  But there is normally also a space with fireplace to just sit all together and relax. |

I wonder if TMZ's Mr Levine will accuse Katy or Russel of "domestic abuse" since they apparently had a "Monster fight" and then went their separate ways for Xmas.

What exactly is the purpose of a Sauna? Do you sweat or just bake? Is it supposed to release impurities or is it just a way to get really warm and toasty? I don't think I've ever had one. We Finns think sauna as a place where you clean your self, body and soul. Insteas of being "erotic", it is more often compared as a chuch or a chappel. Almost like holy and spiritual place.. Good sauna is soft and moisture, quiet, dimmly lit. And you go to sauna and the chill ,and then sauna again, and so it goes.. And afterwards you are so relaxed. Normally children are taken to sauna in the age of few weeks, and you continue to do that until you die. |
