There is a really simple explanation why Adam released BTIKM on December 20th. It was my birthday and I needed a present.  He is so thoughtful. Happy Belated Birthday. Hope it was a good one. |

Speaking of being half way across the world, can I have a slight whinge about fandom from down under. I often feel so lonely in forums with the time zone differences. I so rarely get to talk to anyone in real time. Most people here are asleep, when I'm awake. What I'm finding is by the time I'm finished work/everything else in my life, the thread for the next day may not have been started, and yesterday's thread is up to 30 pages, everything's done and dusted and I've missed the fun  Aww! Nikki sorry you miss getting to post with us. But there are others from Australia and in your time zone here who can keep you company! {{{HUGS}}} bb. Yup, the time zone differences totally suck for us, but the downunder contingent is sloooowly growing. I think Atop has 3 Ozzies and 6 Kiwi's now and hopefully when single takes off and album drops, more and more peeps from our neck of the planet will start seeking info and finding Atop in the near future. I know for a fact that a couple of the NZGlitterTribe are registered members here, but have never posted ~yet. *pokes Lidbud and Sweetonpeace*  But in saying that, NZ is just one time zone and Australia has 3? and depending on DST, NZ is 2 or 3 hours ahead of your east coast, but many more to your west coast, so even that small difference affects unified conversations. Sometimes our European peeps are awake and bright eyed and bushy tailed at the same time, but for example, by the time I catch up with the thread in my morning, our beloved Gelly is just popping off to bed in Greece, and then later in my day she starts posting again.... and then it's time for me to go to bed...lol Do you know any other OZ berts that you could direct here and help keep us company whilst the rest of the world sleeps?  |
