OT kind off- Someone upthread mentioned Tiger Woods and his apology to his now exwife and the public. His apology, while it could never rectify or justify his wretched behavior, was definitely called for. For years, he had portrayed the image of the clean, loving family man and he sold products and made millions based on this image. He was trusted and looked up to by all. Then it came to light that he was no more than a nasty disloyal rutting pig for years. He betrayed his wife AND the public. When his odious behavior came to light, an apology was the least he could do. In no way can Adam or his situation be compared to this miserable excuse for a man. Ok - I'm done. Back to Adam...

OK then, the sauna question MUST become one of asked questions during promo. Or next twitter party!! Inquiring minds and all... I think the first couple of promo interviews are going to be fascinating! (And I don't think Adam's gonna get asked about meeting Madonna any time soon again - I HOPE!)

But Adam's American and we know he won't even take his shirt off in public! I'm having fun a hard time visualizing this. I don't think Adam would have any problem in a private situation like this. I think Adam is only "shy" about shedding his clothes in public since AI/fame because he knows that a million photos would circulate and he doesn't want to subject himself to having every perceived "flaw" scrutinized. Damn fame! 8-) Well, Sauli isn't shy to show some skin even in public so I kinda think Adam could have learnt now to relax in private situations to follow the lead LOL. And Sauli blogged earlier last week that he(they)'d been in sauna - so there was a practise one for Adam so he knew what to do and what he'd have to endure. (heathwise, it's hot in Finnish sauna). Hmmh, I wonder if they had vasta/vihta what ever that is in English. Experience to the fullest LOL.

It's totally possible that he went with Sauli alone, and I don't think they would have any problems getting nekkid with each other... ;D The point of sauna is to relax, just enjoy of the warmth, and let all your worries go... and that includes also possible clothing issues. It is customary to go there naked, but if someone feels it's uncomfortable, then they can use, for example, swimsuits. It's totally okay.

Best single: Someone like you
Best album: Adele 21
Best movie: The Help or Bridesmaids
Books are hard because I'm never sure how current they are when I get around to reading them.

LOL, a vasta or vihta is a bathing whisk made of fresh birch branches. You use it to whip yourself with it gently. I remember NoAngel was a bit shocked at first when I told her about this! ;D And since it's winter and you can't get fresh birch branches here, you use ones that have been frozen during the previous summer just for this particular purpose.

Okay, I just read Sauli's Christmas blog and wondered if the Finns can enlighten me us. What does one wear in the Sauna in a 'family' situation? 8-) Nothing :D. We are still sometimes having sauna as a family and my daugher is young adult and my son in his teens. I also often have sauna night with my female friends. Being naked is really not an issue in Finland. At all. Not all want to be naked publicly, but if some else is, it gets no attension. And also ok for eyes of children e.g. in magazines. Pornografy and erotics is an other story, but nakedness is not automaticly assosiated to those. You can find high end politics naked in high end magazines. The only question is if the photo is good or not. : And what comes to Adam, I don't think he modest at all, having been naked on stage and looking at the pictures of him in BM. I think it is just publicity management.

Sauna is a great experience. After I go the gym (or I might say after I used to go to the gym) I always had a sauna. And now it's common for many people to have a sauna at home too.
Don't you use sauna's in the US?
