mszue I am sorry you can’t go as I know how much you were looking forward to it. I wonder how much safety procedures are in Adam’s hands or up to the theatre. Is that kind of thing written into a contract? I really hope he streams a show for everyone who can’t be there in person! Adam's shows will require proof of vaccination or a negative test. Plus, we will have to be masked. Ticket master says this on their site. Where are you seeing this is not the case? I am not sure about streaming. I hope it happens for the fans who can't go.

Svca - I am in extreme northwest NJ, and my house is on a ridge. Surprisingly, we kept electricity, although streets all around us lost it. I was not hit any flooding on my way to work, but my son, heading into NYC, saw a lot of abandoned cars and wrecked tractor-trailers. He is actually a commercial diver with the Dockbuilders Union in NYC, and came by to look for welding equipment b/c his direct employer on the Hudson River has to do emergency repairs for docks damaged by the storm. The lower areas, particularly those located by rivers, got hit hard. A very pretty river and its neighbor across the river, got a 5 foot influx of flood waters - Lambertville (no relation) NJ and New Hope PA. Urban areas closer to NYC were flooded. So, this time around, I'm in good shape.

I went to a live production last Saturday that required masks (even though it was outdoors), and I was happy to find that wearing the mask for 2 hours didn't bother me much at all (it was a surgical mask).
I'm still planning to go to Vegas, will be masking whenever indoors, may have to eat meals in my room I guess.....

Ticketmaster is not requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test, they are saying that would be up to the venue: "Is Ticketmaster requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test for entry? No, Ticketmaster does not set or control Health Check guidelines. Certain Event Organizers are opting to require entry qualifications for fans to attend their event. Additionally, some state and local governments are mandating Event Organizers to require health checks at entry. Information regarding the specific Health Check requirements for your event can be found on the Event Organizer’s website (usually the venue’s site) and may also be located on the event page." I couldn't find any info on the event page, and the Venetian does not list that vaccination or negative test required, but there is this: "The State of Nevada requires ALL individuals to wear face coverings or masks in public, indoor areas regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status" Where did you see info. about vaccination requirement?

I might very well go double masked. We are flying 1st class so no strangers sitting next to us. And I won't sit indoors to eat, as you say we can eat in the room. We do have chairs booked for outside near the pool in an adult section. If it looks safe we will spend time out there reading and relaxing the day after the show. If we don't think it's safe we can always read in our room. Hopefully the 3rd booster will be available before I go.

Thanks didilyn. I did not see anything on Ticketmaster re the show requiring masks and Vaccination proof. What I did do was call the Venetian hotel to ask them what precautions or mandates they had in place for the show and they told me they were advising masks but not mandating...and nothing re vaccinations. Now that may change...or not...but the nail in the coffin [no puns intended] is my flights. There are rules now that only one flight per day in each direction, from our airport, is allowed into the US so the way they timed it, I don't get in until 6:10 pm...and that is if it arrives on time...which makes it incredibly difficult to get to the concert in time then I have to leave at 7am on the Sunday..international flights mean being at the airport by 5am....so up at 3:30 or so to get ready and get to the airport....just not fun at all. And the hoops to get back such as a covid test to get on the flight back...the whole thing is just too much. If either of the two options above were different, I was hanging on to hope....but it has turned an exciting fun trip into an unsafe bunch of stress. Re artists having control...I think the artists do have say as there has been some publicity around certain artists demanding vaccination controls and offering refunds to those who refuse to be safe.I would expect to mask up also...likely as you say..the ugly under the pretty . I have no problem with that. This is not a decision made lightly...I have been hanging on hoping that something would change but that does not seem a serious possibility. I am appalled that folks need to be ordered to do things any adult should just do; and then getting mad when they are so ordered. And yet blame the politicians for not doing that ordering...as if it is their fault that people are acting like sulky kids. Yikes. What is wrong with our world...not just the US...this is happening everywhere....I just don't get it. I want to move to New Zealand I think... Sorry Q3....it's late...nobody is going to read me anyway...

Hey, some on the West Coast are up! Didilyn is right. I could have sworn it was Adam's shows that had the vaccine restrictions but the "health check" was for Gaga's show which I am going to the next night. Perhaps it has something to do with the seating capacity. Only 1800 seats at the Venetian vs. 5000 at Park Theater. Oh well, double mask for me.
