From Cassie:
#1. Adam's performance WAS a bit "pitchy" in places. I ain't gonna lie. I could debate whether he was going for the Eb which didn't fit the key of the song and which he overshot, or whether he was going for the E, which does fit the song but ended up being a little flat. We could do a debate note for note, but in principle, I have to agree that Adam was not pitch perfect in the medley. Particularly on some of the improvised riffs It's funny. The first time I listened to the EMA performance, I noticed the "pitchiness" (sp?). Now that I've listened to it a million times, I no longer hear it...in fact, after reading your post I had to go back and listen again to listen for it. Guess the EPIC nature of it overall just overshadows any technical flaws. #epicperformance

What a nice Twitter party to get previous tweets buried into the Twitter sediment, and to S-words mentioned in non-relevant context. And a nice birthday surprise to Neil of course. Love this boy!

I don't/can't read the DDD forum much anymore and it isn't because the boys criticize Adam.
Sincere critiques are interesting, but I can't be sure any longer whether they mean what they say or they're trying to provoke that obnoxious fangirl.

On first viewing, I thought it was a marvelous performance that brought tears to my eyes because of the significance of the event, but also thought it wasn't his best vocals. Upon repeated viewings there was so much epic in the performance visually, stylistically, emotionally, and in terms of power and presence that a few botched notes seemed insignificant. From a technical POV, not Adam's strongest vocal, but from an overall performance POV, it ranks among my favorites.

Thank you clematis for bringing the tweets here! It's nice to be able to follow a Twitter party since it's not too late here yet. Usually I'm asleep when he has them. Only wish he would have answered more questions...#entitled fan It's my first time too to catch his twitter party and able to send him a few questions. Just crop this out with the freckles untouch
