He is just so formal and gentlemanly when he introduces people. Yes ladies and gentlemen, here is the band. And so darn respectful !!! Love him  Although I believe he'd be this way no matter what, I also think that the children's theatre he was put into introduced a certain etiquette to the kids in training. Whether he's introducing his band or Queen, it's the same Ladies and Gentlemen. Love him too. |

Can someone please explain this to me? What cause this jump? BTIKM hasn't got a lot of radio play, so does it mean the sales number that push this single to #8 from #76? No it didn't go from #76 to #8. The song is #8 on the chart of the Biggest Hot 100 Jumps. In other words when a song goes from one position to another higher position that would be a Jump. By debuting at #76 in essence he "jumped" from just below 100 to #76. Comparing all of the jumps for this week his song was #8 on that list. ok thanks |

Well, first of all, because I wrote it for my friends here at ATop, in a style that suits me on this forum. My tone is a bit snarky. If I were to post a response on their site, to them, I would make the same points, but phrase it differently to fit their forum and show them the proper respect for sharing their opinions. And make sure there was no "fan-girl" sounding bits. Secondly, I do not want to engage in a debate with them. They have their points of view, I have mine. I have seen too many times where a discussion of perspectives or opinions of an artist or their work becomes a battle of wits and one-up-man-ship between the different posters. Don't want to go there. Thirdly, what would be the point in posting there? I am not going to change their opinions, they are not going to change mine. I have seen some Adam fans (you know who I am talking about) go on their forum and make fools of themselves, to the guys' great amusement. It does not serve Adam well. It does not serve the fandom well. I don't really belong on their forum because I am definitely not their demographic, and I am not really even interested in great rock frontmen. I know very little about what "great" means in their context, and don't like the music enough to take the time to educate myself. Adamtopia is my Adam home, and I am sublimely happy here, thanks to you all. I am appreciated, supported and respected. Here I can grow, learn, and be myself. Here is safe. I like it here. |

It feels like the air is thick with "band energy". They have all got to be excited about what's to come. I'm trying to keep my excitement at bay about March 20th. Sometimes it seems just around the corner and other times (like now) it's like infinity.

ETA: Sorry - Bassist I saw on 25th Hall of Fame Concert in Madison Square Garden was Tal Wilkenfeld and she was backing Jeff Beck. Looks a lot like Ashley and is also in her 20s. Go gurls!
