I thought that Adam was going to sing Wicked Game if One wasn't approved. But I DEFINITELY could be mistaken. I just remember something about that because I really like that song and wanted to hear him sing it.

As a post-idol Adam fan I have a question: Is it true that Adam initially was supposed to sing "Come home" but then it got switched to "One" when TPTB realized Kris Allen had already been given "Apologize" to sing (Top 3)? ??? If so, do you have a source  I remember that and thought he might have won over more voters, if he had. My not-so-good memory thinks it was his own decision. I do not a source, though I believe Adam talked about it in an interview. |

As I remember it was Adam's own choice of song which had (allegedly) to be changed. He sang Crying instead
ETA : There was also some doubt over clearance for "One" (Simon's choice) the alternative would have been Wicked Game
