Just watched the video that "Vivi" objects to. I think the video reflects exactly how Adam feels about being a gay man who is very attracted to guys. Period. No big surprise at all. And the "explicitness" of this video, if that's what she objects to, if pretty tame compared to lots of other live shows where the actual performer is doing all sorts of sexual things live (as Adam has done himself, BTW). From what I can see from the concert vids so far, Adam himself is just about covered head to toe with layers of clothing.
If a straight male showed provocative vids of women onstage, I supposed that would be ok! But hunky gay guys is not ok? This video is no surprise to me. Adam is monumentally clear about who he is and how he feels sexually. I'm ready to enjoy the ride.

Sexuality doesn’t matter in her case. But I agree with you, that the background video was typical Adam.

Does anybody here have the Adam virtual concert listed under My Experience on Looped yet? Mine still hasn't shown up. Also, what does Redemption Code mean? I'm getting nervous and just want to make sure I didn't forget to do something. From the little I know you don't need the redemption code if its numbers.

Must have been a powerful video if you paid more attention to a few minutes of that video than you did to Adam, lol. Not that easy to take the focus off of Adam himself. Great set and a nice mix of songs. Exciting! The Fan doesn’t like the „leather Daddy“ look either. So the combination of both was too much for her. Ha!! I have never been a fan of Adam's more campy looks either (don't care for them from anyone). I loathe that pink suit, mainly because of the big flowers. But it would not stop me from going to his concerts. In fact, I can't even remember if he wore that pink suit at any of my QAL concerts. There were so many great outfits, and the wonderful performance, that still stick in my mind. So if he did wear it, I guess it failed to leave a lasting impression, lol.

I don't even know where the Redemption Code would come from or what it is. Is it a code you get when you buy a ticket on their website?

LAS VEGAS REVIEW JOURNAL twitter.com/reviewjournal/status/1451297497037561863
1. Adam LambertNo one can fill Freddie Mercury’s shoes, but Adam Lambert has slipped them on and high-stepped across stages worldwide in fine fashion for the past nine years as frontman for Queen + Adam Lambert. Now he’s on his own once more, minus Queen but sacrificing none of the hip-swishing flamboyance and jet-powered pipes that made him an ideal singer for those rock ’n’ roll greats. See him at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Wednesday; Oct. 29 and 30 at the Venetian Theatre, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets start at $52.95; ticketmaster.com. www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/top-10-things-to-do-this-week-in-las-vegas-2463682/

Following Adam's concert last night first through the twitter feed and then partially through the audio stream was exactly what my fan heart needed. I wasn't so sure initially if I wanted to listen to an audio feed only, but it turned out that focusing on his voice and his heartfelt speech brought me back to why I became a fan in first place. I was really happy to take it all in without the visual "distractions", as someone mentioned yesterday, and sure enough the adrenaline came back again like in the old days. Adam took me on a musical journey throughout his career and only once the concert was over did I realize that it was exactly what I needed lol.
In terms of the opening backdrop that someone had an issue with, I think it was mild and it was only a reflection of who Adam is. As with visuals in general, some like it and others don't. That is something that someone like Adam will have to navigate throughout his career. Unfortunately, straight artists have it much easier in that regard.
Loved the fact that Adam took off layers until he was only in jeans and a T-shirt, which to me was perfect for the rock part of the night and my favorite look haha. It was so nice to see his arms!! I was thrilled that he ended with Superpower, which along with Roses are probably my favorite songs from "Velvet". For him to open with "Heavy Fire" made me perk up and eager to join the audio stream after all, and almost forgotten but old favorite "Can't Let You Go" was a huge treat as well as "Marry The Night", which to me was a major highlight during Adam's appearance on Glee. What a night and what an incredible setlist!
I am a bit sad that I decided to let go of my tickets due to the Covid situation and though October is a favorable month for Adam to perform, I think I along with many other fans would have been able to join if the show had been a bit later. In my particular case, only yesterday did J&J vaccinated people get FDA approval for a booster shot. Next time that Adam performs live, I bet I won't miss it. For now, I am definitely looking forward to the livestream on the 29th!
I also watched COTCB last night, once I had recovered from the Vegas concert. I love that show and Adam is very kind and insightful with his comments.
