Oh yes, that's an excellent question. I was really hoping to find a really interesting, thoughful question that he has not been asked before. For a pop star you became famous when you were older than most, so you must have had a concept or vision of what success would look like before Idol. You were also on the cusp of a lot of huge changes in the industry; for instance streaming music and the takeover by social media. How did those changes interact or even interfere with your original vision? Would navigating your career been easier if you were a little older or a little younger?

mszue — to paraphrase every teacher ever, there is no such thing as an incrementally better or worse question, there is only the search for all knowledge in the universe. Or something like that :D

But keep in mind that the M&G is only 1 minute long. Jus5 asking that question takes almost half of it.

Or something like that LindaG23....I taught also, and we both know that really is not completely so hahahaha Mine was not such a 'bad' question as one less likely to get a full answer than yours....which in this particular situation, could legitimately be labelled "better". haha

Anyone have any suggestions for questions I should ask Adam in my virtual meeting & greet today? What about something along the lines of: Using your experience and understanding of how the music industry works, what advice would you give to a new young gay man entering the industry today. I am thinking more of career advice than personal but identity health obviously is a huge determinant of behaviour. Perhaps it would be different if the objective were popularity versus longevity so how would those criteria alter the advice. Is that too pointed or personal? Hm, May be I could work with that. My 22 yr old nephew is gay and is currently in school for music production. Maybe I would ask for Adam's advice in how I could best support my nephew. Like Adam, my nephew has very supportive parents.

If Adam found it interesting enough, I suspect that M&G could go on a wee bit longer.....maybe???
