We had a scare at church service tonight. This seemingly nice gentleman with her young granddaughter sat right in front of me, my DH and DS. After the homily, he started screaming at the top of his voice and just went on and on. I was scared and all I could think of was, "What if he has a gun? We will be the first targets!" Thank God, the ushers got him out with no incident. Just made me extra mindful of how precious your loved ones are. So with that, my prayer is this:
May you all be blessed with love, peace and happiness today and always. Happy New Year!
2012 indeed will be nuts - need to start planning the next listening party!

Wow, I haven't been able to join the conversation for a while (holidays!). I've been lurking when I can, though. Tonight I just had to pop in and wish everyone Happy New Year!
Many thanks and much love to everyone for making Atop such a great place. I hope to meet bunches of you at concerts in the year to come. Yay!
And just a thought about concerts - if the tour starts with some dates in theater-size places near you, be sure to get those tickets because by the end of the tour he may be in bigger, less personal venues. Lots of artists on the rise move to larger venues as a tour progresses.
Also looking forward to Burning Man with the various Atop peeps who are going! Yay again! (Main sale ticket sign up starts Jan 9th.)
Love to everyone - thank you, thank you, thank you for all the great times in 2011 and before. And I understand that 2012 is going to be nuts...
