She is from AI too and not more talented than Adam! Well, she is female, not gay and has 10 years of hits including a bunch of #1 songs on radio. Adam does not have big radio hits. He probably will not go shooting up the charts on this 1st song but will have to fight his way to the top. We love him but radio doesn't yet consider him something special, He will have to prove himself. |

Yes, it got a lot of adds but it was not selling well at the beginning. And her second single, Stronger, is a perfect Pop song!! I expected it to take off and wondered why it wasn't the first single. And as Stardust said, she has 10 years behind her of success. Now with all the being said, I do not begrudge Kelly any of her success because she can sing and she has worked her butt off! It's some of the other Pop successes that tick me off! |

It's some of the other Pop successes that tick me off! I know all this. She is not the only one with radio hits though. Beyonce I am sure has more hits than her and is also established, yet radio did not show her so much love in this era. In fact her first single was dropped off radio like some hot potatoes because it was not selling that great. Neither was Kelly's, yet radio kept spinning her like crazy and pushed that song over platinum for her. This is what I don't understand about her radio love. |
