Aw, yes, the concern trolls at MJ's (I lurk there too often). These are the people who bend over backwards explaining how Adam isn't a star, isn't "big enough" to perform the NA at the Superbowl, etc., etc. but then somehow still think his songs should be flying up the chart like Gaga's. lol. Oh, and thanks for the "yesbert" clarification. I guess I am new to all this stuff

It's the same ole folks saying the same ole things at MJs! I'm going to LMAO when NAL releases his single and a couple of people's comments about adds do a 180. IMO, Saga is one of the more realistic, fact based chart watchers in Adam's fanbase. Ignore the yesberts! (you know who I'm talking about) They have been yelling that "the sky is falling" since the WWFM days. : No amount of logic or reasoning will ever convince them that Adam is not doomed to failure. I sincerely don't understand how they can enjoy staining Adam with the amount of angst that it gives them! Do they like being miserable? ??? Hahaha, saga & myself are part of yesberts (Stardust is a resident of yes as well). Many "yesberts" do not think the sky is falling down. Most of us are very rational but maybe less vocal I don't know who you are on twitter, but I do read tweets from Saga and Stardust and I would never group them in with the yesberts I was referring to! Perhaps I should have said the "hysterical, negative-Nellie yesberts"? Seriously, I respect those who follow the charts on a daily basis and give us realistic, calm impressions- like those here at ATOP! Some of those chart-watchers (and they aren't members here at ATOP) need an IV of Prozac or Zoloft! mys*&@^#r: Unfortunately, the yesberts I'm referring to are not trolls. They are Adam fans who are very active on Twitter and some on other Adam fanboards. They are just ~hysterical in nature. The ones I am referring to at MJs are NAL stans and are more PA with their comments.

We have a variety of personalities, opinions and feelings, the same as any other group in the fandom. Overall we're a fun group. Before you go spreading negativity yourself, you need to check your facts.

I still don't understand why radio would spin the crap out of Daughtry and Kelly's songs from the moment they get wind of its release and yet won't spin Adam?
What makes them better than him or aren't they all from the same Talent show (assuming that is the stigma)?: Or are they of the Idol bubble mind set that the "holy 3" of Daughtry, Kelly and Carrie are the best of AI and others even if proven to be more talented that them must be denied their time in the sun.
Saying Kelly's song climbed up the charts slowly is not necessarily true though since I followed it. Radio especially HAC supported it and kept spinning it despite the fact that sales did not correlate to the spins for so long. Neither did Top 40 stop spinning too.
If the excuse was being a new artist, what of non US artists like Jessie J and co with no previous US hits that radio jumped on their bandwagon and gave them hits in the States.
I guess I would have been less bothered if there was no side to side Kelly/Adam's songs comparisons, but as it is, it is very hard seeing the discrepancy of support given to one person and the other has to fight on stupid radio polls to even get a single spin. And to even say her song is worse sounding than Adam's, yet it got all the support from radio is so damn frustrating.
Mind you, I am not writing this song off yet as it might just have a slow climb on the chart, I am just angry with the partiality of US radio.

Tigerlily, I was speaking of regulars at MJ's and bullsfan described it perfectly.
Pom, Daughtry has not had the crap spun out of his single. He is truly struggling. And Kelly's first single did not move quickly at all.
ETA: Kelly moved up faster than i thought. this is 3 weeks after release to radio. However, I agree that we shouldn't b comparing with Kelly who is on album #5 and been around 10 years.

Like every family you have some people who tend to be more sensitive and they might/can sound hysterical on twitter and you also have the very chill/zen fans and everything in between. If you know which ones are which it is easy to get a realistic view of the situation
