Do we even have confirmation that Adam is visiting East Coast radio on the way back from Europe? (I honestly don't know)
If RCA cares about the success of Trespassing, and we know they must, then SOMETHING has to happen.

We do know Toby mentioned seeing him in person and he posted something about a Feb radio tour so....fingers crossed that they will start working this song HARD when he gets back. I mean nothing so far has made a lick of sense but it doesn't mean the song can't take off if RCA gets their shit together, or simply enacts whatever plan we are simply not privvy too. Not defeated yet, just really confused.

Just My Thoughts (and I don't know nothing!)
I'm not expecting a lot of adds tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong about that, of course. He hasn't done any promo with the big CHR stations and I wonder if they are holding out. Last time he did a concert for Z100 and Jingle balls. Maybe they are waiting for him to get back from Europe and for the MV to drop. He needs to do a radio tour (payola for plays) as soon as he gets back, but nothing is confirmed. Maybe RCA is seeing a lot of resistance and are banking on Europe and Asia to kick this era off. It is confusing, but I believe that RCA has something up their sleeves. They put too much money on him to not go for it!!!

BTW - What was the alt rock station that played BTIKM in DC? I heard it was DC101. I can't imagine why they would play it tho, and don't know how to verify if they did or not. DC101 ??!!??!!??!! No way. I listen to this station. They aren't alt rock. They're hard rock. Adam's never getting played here. Metallica yes. Adam no.

IMO, Pittsburgh, Hartford and Ft. Collins are great adds. There hasn't been a big add day for 2 weeks for most stations. I mean last week, Q102 made one add and it was Colbie Callait. Huh?Today, it seems most stations that added were Country. Weird! Chris Brown only got 6 adds & one of those was Canada. Of course, one was KIIS LA but still. I would expect him to get more than that. As longs as spins are increasing, and they are, there is nothing to worry about. An add does not mean a station will spin it. Spins are always better than adds. And there is a very good chance that all of these will be auto adds next week: CKZZ-FM Pub 6 Canada-Hot AC Vancouver 19/RCA Astral Media 3 KMIY-FM Pub 5 Hot AC Tucson 19/RCA Clear Channel Communications 60 KDMX-FM Pub 4 Hot AC Dallas 19/RCA Clear Channel Communications KVUU-FM Pub 4 Hot AC Colorado Springs 19/RCA Clear Channel Communications 93 WKRQ-FM Pub 1 Hot AC Cincinnati 19/RCA Hubbard Broadcasting Incorporated 28 KSCF-FM Pub 1 Hot AC San Diego 19/RCA CBS Radio 17 KMXB-FM Pub 1 Hot AC Las Vegas 19/RCA CBS Radio 33 ETA: CHR TOP 40 adds are tomorrrow. Some stations add on Mondays. Today KIIS did. Q102 has not added anyone this week yet.

I am wondering if Adam might start getting some traction on rock stations due to the association with Queen. I noticed when looking at the stations not added list for BTIKM there were two Alternative rock stations that each gave BTIKM one spin last week. One was in DC and the other in Richmond. ETA: Looking further at the top 10 in rock on iTunes only 3 of the songs are current. So the rock chart is dominated by older songs. The Fray have 2 in the top 10. BTW - What was the alt rock station that played BTIKM in DC? I didn't write them down and the counters must have reset now so maybe it was the week before but looking at the stations not added list today the only Richmond Alt rock station I see is WRXL and the DC one is WWDC. I had seen 1 spin for each of those stations when I checked the not added list. ETA: You know all the angsting about big market stations not adding is exactly the same kind of talk that went on with IIHY. Almost all of the early stage adds for IIHY were smaller market stations and stations he was visiting on tour. I don't think any of the big market stations added until after the MV release and I seem to remember RCAEd more or less confirming that they had things lined up but were waiting on the MV because Adam has such strong response on his videos. I for one am not willing to write this off until at least a week or two after the video drops. The video drops this Friday and then when he gets back from the European promo they probably have stuff lined up here. I would not be at all surprised if the bigger stations are being held back until the US promo gears up. If I had a nickel for every time WWFM and IIHY were declared dead as doornails by people online I would have a nice little tour fund. All the wailing and gnashing of teeth is not going to change any of RCA's plans so why waste the energy. Adam has been absolutely thrilled with his label to this point and I don't see anything but sheer excitement coming from him in interviews so I'm willing to trust that RCA has things under control. Time enough to analyze and criticized the rollout AFTER the song is done. I mean really and truly done not predictions.
