So, new single, band is practicing, Grammys are coming up Feb 12th or so. Advertisements from Grammys showing up on NFL football saying all the crazy things happen at the Grammys and asking who will be on this year.
So chances of Adam performing at the Grammys?

The next day we have pics in NYC from the Nikka Costa consert and also some pics from The Box. He went alone in NYC. I don't remember what exactly he was doing in NYC besides that.

I think the only chance Adam has to be on the Grammy's this year is to present. That being said if he DOES have a chance to perform I could only see him doing so if it was part of a tribute or something. I mean do the Grammy's normally let people debut new songs when the majority of perf are celebrating the songs nommed for the past year? Can't recall....I mean maybe they do but I dunno....I can't see them letting Adam do it. I don't think he is *big* enuf yet for that but I'd love to be proven wrong. |

She really does seem committed to Adam and, though of course it's her job, I do get a vibe of "reverence" and that she truly believes in him and his talent (and the album!!). (Of course, being a music industry publicist, she's likely seen a lot of acts come and go and c'mon, anyone would have to be dense to not recognize it ...). Still glad she really seems to though, and I'm VERY excited to see what type of things they have planned for his UK promo in February. I thought it was rather interesting when I realized not too long ago that she doesn't seem to handle Kelly, though she reps many Sony artists in the UK. Kelly has had a presence in Britain, yet seems to have gone to some other PR rep. Still going to keep hoping that the rumor about Robbie Williams is real and I think the beauty of it is that Adam would have been asked to guest on Robbie's record, which would be a huge endorsement for him there. Man, guesting for Queen and Robbie Williams (if true)??? How could the UK media (and more importantly radio) types possibly turn a blind eye to THAT??
