Q3, what a lovely banner! Adam all over 2012!
NoAngel, great essay, once again. Keeping it real, I can relate to that. Even though a part of Adam's job is to create an illusion when on stage, I appreciate that he's a real human being, faults and all. Still his background, thought process and his reality is so different from mine that it's like watching a movie in real-time. A perfect mixture of Adam the young guy in love with insecurities and Adam the Celebrity with a jet-set life & parties. Captivating; I can hardly wait what more is revealed by Trespassing.
As to my reaction to anything Adam does; he's human, he's young, he's learning and nobody's perfect. He's so brave to set himself into the spotlight in order to be able to do what he loves (and what he was born to do). In his age, I could've not handled things better, but maybe differently. I could learn a thing a two from him... non-judgemental, positive, live & let live attitude.... among other things.
NoAngel, you are right, we have the power to choose between positivity & negativity. I choose to be positive with my rosy glasses, lol.

A bit O.T., but with the new year comes new year predictions. As an Aquarian, I have a deep appreciation for astrology and its horoscopes. This is my (and Adam's) career horoscope for 2012. I hope it pans out for me, but really hope this comes true for Adam. This promises to be a stellar career year for Aquarius - your star is clearly rising! You've been in a bit of a gestation period for the past few years, but now you're getting ready to unveil your genius. Though 2011 may have felt like a bit of a stalemate for you, you'll soon realize that you were simply collecting experiences, ideas and dreams that will all be put to good creative use this year. (Grammy nominations were Nov. 30 this year.) They might be a day or so later, but still close enough. I choose to believe!!! (Especially since this is SOOO MUCH what I've envisioned for him.) AMW, ITA about Alisan. VERY exciting for her. I really got the vibe during Scarlett's pregnancy and since Riff was born that she had "The Babies" really bad. Seemed like she was ready and definitely wanting one of her own. So adorable how their entire friend circle's lives seem to be timing out so perfectly for all of them right now. |

Welcome to twitter PostFestumPf! Saw you there & followed you. Now I have to warn you: When I was thinking of signing up for twitter JUST TO FOLLOW ADAM someone on here warned me that it is addicting. Imma tell you that truer words were never spoken! I'm at the point where my time HERE is suffering & this place is really my first love & my real home. But it is tough juggling both. Good luck! ;D I had been thinking about joining, but never got around to do it. Then yesterday, when I posted my wishes for Adam somebody mentioned that I should tweet it to him and I did. ;D Thanks for following me AND the warning; I can totally see what you mean by addictive... I have yet to read today's posts but today I spent a long time catching up on yesterday's thread. No big news but on ef my favorite day to read so far!!! I am new to Adam obsession, and even newer to ATop so the nostalgic stories were more like glimpses of the past that I missed. I had such a great time reading and laughing and feeling oh so good about what fun I have to look forward to in 2012. What a remarkable place I have found myself a part of. A year ago I had none of this, not even Adam. His spell worked quickly on me and I am as deep in the rabbit hole as the rest of this group. Thank you all for your wonderful posts (and reposts!), making me feel normal, bringing me closer to Adam and giving me such fun times!
I too admit, today isn't my bday. I didn't want my real one posted and was unable to change it after I discovered it would be hidden. But my birthday is within a very short time of this so I will take the cupcakes now and enjoy their noncaloric scrumptiousness! Thank you! Happy New Year to you all!
