Oliver in shorts conversation got me looking up temperatures in Copenhagen and London now. They’re about the same as here — hovering under 10 degrees C. Adam, a Cali boy, is probably feeling the chill. Oliver, on the other hand, probably thinks it is pretty warm in Los Angeles. Plus he is young. I had a nephew who wore shorts pretty well all year round. If it was really cold, he might put a toque (or a toboggan:) )on. Plus Oliver does have nice legs. They look really long in that photo. I wonder how tall he is? All through school my nephew would wear shorts year round. It would drive my sister crazy because she usually dresses in at least 3 or 4 layers lol and can't understand that other people don't get cold like her. When he was a baby she would bundle him up like crazy and he was always sweaty and with a bright red face. Poor guy.

cassie saw this quote and realised it captures another element of what makes Adam's voice special... "The signal in a James Brown recording, the actual signal, is his soul reaching up for that note. That’s why they call it soul. It’s that reaching that we’re hearing, and that’s what makes his interpretation of the song different than Britney’s, different than Ariana’s..." — Douglas Rushkoff Interesting quote. But I don't see it applying to Adam. Because I almost never hear Adam 'REACHING UP' for a note at all. The impressive thing about Adam is his singing, whether gentle and tender, or big and forceful, always sounds effortless. "Yeah, I hit that D5, E5, even G5. Eh. Not a big deal. But I knew it would get to you." Adam often "REACHES INTO" my heart and soul, and touches me deeply with his voice and his interpretation. Perhaps that is what Rushkoff was talking about.

Never noticed before but I think some of those moves are choreographed from Wicked, lol. Other moves are pure Adam.

I think your interpretation is what he means. And I agree Adam sings with his soul ...
