Very seasonal colors Tbh I just want him to get in shape, especially for the QAL (fingers crossed it happens). Donāt care what he wears as I think a lot of the latest choices are made to āhideā. Crossing my fingers also for the QAL tour next year. I'm trying to think positive, but everything still seems so tentative. I have no doubt that he'll be in great shape for the tour.

Love the header picture (mood) of Adam from the Velvet era. Stylish and colorful. Gorgeous, classy but edgy man for the win. Maybe it is on his mind too. He knows and feels when he is looking really good.
According to Forbes, Adam made $6M off of his very first headlining solo world tour after Idol. That was fantastic and he has been on a roll from the beginning. But with what he is making with QAL, I hope he will want to be in his best shape when they start their next tour.

I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I do remember hearing way back that Adam was the only Idol alum to have their debut solo tour to include a pretty hefty number of international dates. If another Idol was able to do this or had a few international dates on their debut solo tour. I don't know who that was. Those were the days when Idol was immensely popular.

Adam Lambert Glam Nation Tour 113 or 116 showsā¦depending on which site was counting, and one article did indicate Adam made around 6 million in the year 2010-11 ālargely in part to the tourā. Impossible! 113 shows X 2000 or even moreā¦.for attendees, at an āaverageā of $34.00- 39.00 Ticket price. ( go to GNT Wiki for 31 venues who reported gross sales)
Adam did little else but tour during 2010. What Adam actually took to the Bank, ??? No wonder he expressed how exhausted and depressed he was after that gruelling year on the road. He was garnering and satisfying his developing fan base. Lucky us!
Some stats on reported sales per venue indicated $51-57,000.00 gross for the smaller venues. Barely break even tour stops. Definitely a few bigger venues here and there.
(Travelled US, Canada, Europe, Asia, NZ and Austraila.) That is a lot of travelling. Expenses for taxes, travel/ hotels, marketing, venue costs, management, band, staff etc. with majority of shows being 1500-2500 range.

That is what I remember reading or hearing as well. World wide star he is. North America ā¦tough grind. I quickly checkedā¦2013 Carrie toured internationallyā¦.well after her debut year. Kelly has as well, but not initially. Daughtry 2014.

If another Idol was able to do this or had a few international dates on their debut solo tour. I don't know who that was. Those were the days when Idol was immensely popular. Yes. Adam was the first Idol (and still the only one) to have a headlining world tour with his first album after the show. North America plus 30+ dates in Europe/Asia/Australia/NZ. Some were good sized venues too. 1500-4K and 8K twice in LA. and 7K in Penn (that reporter there was mad that Adam filled up the place, lol). Some larger venues mixed with smaller ones internationally as well. And he headlined a few large festivals during his first tour and that would have added to his take and success. He did very well with his first tour to the chagrin of fans of other idols, lol.
Kelly had a headlining tour with her second album that included Europe/Australia. Daughtry toured internationally on his first two albums but they were was not his headlining tours. He opened for Bon Jovi then Nickelback. Adam and Daughtry were both invited to perform at Formula 1 in Singapore and that went into Adam's total that 1st year. Daughty had 10K and Adam had 20K in attendance, on a different night, it was reported at his concert. Others like Carrie later did several dates in Europe and some Australia.

A small reminder:
#Glamberts: Can we try to get #OnTheMoon & #LoveDont to 1 million streams before #VELVET turns 2 on 20 March 2022 for Adam? š At the current rate OTM gets there on 29 March and LD on 27 August. š§ I've already added them extra times to my playlist:
I'm seeing a small increase, but that's not nearly enough to get those songs to 1 million. Over 4,600 people saw my tweet, but those are not streaming it seems. As the increase for both songs is still in the 500.
Using my playlist you will stream On The Moon 8 times and Love Don't 12 times in about 5.5 hours. The playlist also works very well for free accounts as they can't put things on repeat.
I'll be posting some updates later this week on Twitter when things become a little more settled. It's a holiday weekend in the US after all.
