Brian got roasted on the internet because The Sun 'quoted' him. It was a bad comment completely out of character for Brian and apparently they took some journalistic liberty. The quote then got it's own live all over the world in different media. A lot of people mentioned Adam as well (which seems to have sparked some people to check Adam out as well). This is one of the tweets that was shared around a lot. It has 4300 quotes which says a lot I see people are still sharing that tweet around. Guess Brian's IG post didn't make it around enough yet. |

I don't get what Brian meant about the trans part (seemed unnecessary to make the point) but the Brit Awards seem to be following the Grammy's. They eliminated pop male and female categories and other categories and combined them years ago. I'm glad Adam got a nomination before they did that cause he probably would have been left out. The women were definitely dominating pop tho you got the Ed's and Harry's and a few others that could get in. It was rather uncomfortable watching the Pink, Clarkson, Kesha fans mad when Ed beat out the women several years ago. Combining male and female meant less opportunities for everyone.
It is rather a mess and everyone is on edge. I was reading several articles recently and Billy Porter was mad about not getting enough credit for being a man wearing women's clothing. Then he was upset because one reporter referred to him as a Drag Queen and another to him as trans. He said he was neither.
