Any idea where the new video was shot? Looks like a very nice house!

Thanks, Bamafan! I thought I had remembered seeing the name of the place somewhere, but couldn't remember where.
Really sucks to get old lol...

mszue , your question is a truly difficult question with, unfortunately, no correct answer. There is so much moral ambiguity in the world that I think the best one can do is answer the question on a personal level. I think the calculus is clearer when a concert is given at the behest of and payment by an "evil" entity such as Mariah Carey's performance for the Angolan dictator. However, Formula 1 is a sport and business venture that spans the globe and not an arm of the Saudi government. If Bieber felt very strongly that MBS should be held accountable for Khashoggi's death — and not just the nine individuals who were found guilty — then he should not have accepted F1's invitation to perform in Saudi and told the world why. Does this mean he should not buy gasoline produced from Saudi oil? I deplore the Chinese governments treatment of the Uighurs but I'm sure that some of the things I buy are produced in China. I can and do refuse to purchase goods from various businesses but I do that for me, not to harm them because I know that on scale it doesn't make a hill of beans to those businesses. Bieber's impact would be much larger than anything I can do because of his celebrity, but it is his celebrity to do with as he pleases and he doesn't wish to use it in vocal opposition to MBS. If a celebrity allowed their egregious behavior to rise to a level that I personally found unacceptable, then I would sadly stop listening or watching them and I would probably be judgy about the ethics of anyone who still supported them. If the celebrity had had a significant impact on my life, I would not deny that, I just wouldn't go forward — Michael Jackson always comes to mind for me here. The only time Adam has really come close to disappointing me in this way is when he performed for Herbalife. That "company" is scum grift that has harmed too many people who could ill afford it. But no one is right all the time and he got a pass from me on this.

Your statement re Adam performing for Herbalife, LindaG, is assuming that Adam knows about Herbalife and decided to perform for them anyway. I'm sure there are lots of places that I shop at or eat at or buy from that have a background story that I know nothing about. Quite frankly, I don't have the time or inclination to research in depth every time I spend $$ somewhere.
It's an interesting dilemma for sure, Mszue, but at the end of the day, every person needs to decide for themselves. I would imagine it's an even bigger dilemma for performers.

svca , absolutely. That's what I think happened and why I let it go. Plus all Adam's other actions contraindicate support of ventures like this. I have been in a unique position to see the damage done by Herbalife, but understand that not everyone has.

If you feel strongly about something and want to withhold support for a celebs choice you disagree with, you can do that. But everyone will not feel as strongly as someone else about any or every subject. So it would be an individual choice and others may or may not follow. Climate. Gay rights. Trans rights. BLM. Vaccines. Masks. Politics, etc. Imo, celebs are the same. They may feel more strongly about some things than others and make their decisions and choices accordingly. I don't think fans can expect that they will always be on the same page of a favorite celebrity. There was I guess some kind of scam group that Kelly Clarkson performed at their event a while ago. Someone was ranting about it and saying they were disappointed in her and would never play her music again. I had never heard of the operation, lol.

Interesting — videos were made for both songs. Man With The Bag —29,000 plus views with Adam Lambert …surprised it is not more Drunk on Christmas—147,000 plus views with Lainey Wilson….whom I do not know…been out for 3 weeks on Vevo.

This is one of the most powerful statements I have ever read about dealing with celebrity bad behavior. It's clarity allowed me to continue to enjoy the Harry Potter series even after I learned J.K. Rowling was harmfully transphobic. mszue, I think you will find it worth the read considering your question. wilwheaton.tumblr.com/post/665768411296645120/i-have-more-of-an-opinion-question-for-you-whenNow, you guys may think I was bad-mouthing Adam because he performed at an Herbalife party, however I consider it a tiny misstep in a life of kindness and I doubt he will ever rise to the level of banishment from my list of good people. If I'm being totally honest though, Adam is working very hard to remove himself from my well-dressed list, but I don't consider that a character flaw.
