Quote: Maureen Holley: The reviewer kind of phoned this review in. Missed the great syncopation on the beat. Missed the lovely piano coming in counter to the melody line. Missed the sensitive interpretation of the lyrical content. Right about the falsetto, but forgot to mention the rich vocal tones in the lower notes. Oh, and not auto-tuned. This song is sung by a really good singer. I'd give the song an A and the reviewer a D. I don't know the first thing about singing but I don't hear Adam using his falsetto in BTIKM. I've listened more times than I can count and still don't hear it. Where are the reviewer and the commenter hearing it? I've notice that any time a guy hits a high note it seems to automatically be labeled "falsetto". I think a lot of people (including Randy Jackson) don't really know what falsetto is and just think any guy hitting a high note must be singing falsetto. I think it is leftover from the popularity of the BeeGees. ;D

But technically, am I correct that Adam is not using his falsetto in BTIKM?

But technically, am I correct that Adam is not using his falsetto in BTIKM? That would be one for Cassie to answer but I don't think so. Adam uses falsetto VERY sparingly with the exception of maybe Loaded Smile which I believe he described as being in his falsetto. Not positive about that though. I think a lot of times it is really hard to tell because his falsetto is not as weak sounding as most guy's.
